A life-changing organization for serious professional artists as well as aspiring vocalists who are operating under the radar. I've seen so many incredible singers emerge from this competition with renewed confidence and a bit of cash to help their career! It's rare to feel so much hospitality in a competitive environment.

ATC was one of the best musical experiences of my career. As a 2019 quarterfinalist, I was surrounded by outstanding musicians who were also kind, caring, and incredibly encouraging. Though a competition, the weeklong event built camaraderie amongst the singers, and we cheered each other on the entire week. I am honored to be part of the ATC family.

When the only bad review is because an applicant didn’t get into the competition, you know they’re doing something right!

American Tradition Competition is an incredible organization, with an important cause - celebrate American music! From providing singers with an incredible performance opportunity, to participating in educational outreach to local schools, ATC has become one of the most influential organization on Savannah culture.

The American Traditions Competition changed my entire life...in MANY ways! I attended the competition a few times before competing myself this past year and was always in awe of the immense talent, diverse repertoire, and high profile judges! I actually never thought I'd ever get into a competition like this, but I finally found the courage, sent in my audition, and I was chosen as a quarterfinalist! Then one of the BEST parts of the competition is they put you in homestays with these loving families who make you feel like a part of their family immediately and it feels like you have family in the audience cheering for you! In fact, the whole ATC community is so supportive and makes everyone feel so welcomed and loved. It was such a great environment to really find my voice as a soloist again. My husband and I had such an amazing experience here, we actually decided to move to Savannah this past July, and the ATC had a lot to do with that decision. I cannot recommend this organization enough!

Since I was a judge for ATC in 2015 and 2016 and on the board since, I've seen every aspect grow and become more joyful, hospitable, and professional. Leadership is creative, volunteer spirit at a peak, business financially solid. The accompanists are amazing. The singers are better as a group each year and whoever gets to the finals will have sung in 9 different American styles. Even those who aren't performing on the last night stay around to cheer for their new friends. There's a special welcoming vibe that makes the camaraderie feel as important as the competition.

I think that this organization is a fraud. I am a singer that submitted an application to this organization. There was a very hefty fee associated with it, as well. I spent a long time putting things together...creating sound clips, placing those on sound cloud, using a very time-consuming site to upload everything...only to learn, weeks later, that I was "disqualified" due to the types of songs that I chose. There was a refund. My errors were very mild. It would have been simple for them, at the HIGH cost of their program, to simply let me know if the errors and let me make simple changes. The fact that they did not is disgraceful. It makes me suspect that this organization is a fraud aimed at gullible singers.
