Mission: The american southwest conference was founded to provide a structure for intercollegiate athletics among the member institutions. Its multi-dimensional mission is to create an environment that is characterized by opportunities to learn, friendly competition and enjoyable activities for the universities involved.
Programs: Education and compliance of rules and regulations of the ncaa, american southwest conference and sports; assignment of game officials in football, basketball, soccer, and select baseball and softball tournaments for member institutions; schedule conference games for football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, volleyball and championship tournaments in fourteen sports.
coordinate media relations reporting to various media outlets, national sporting organizations and the ncaa.
