The American Security Council Foundation is a wonderful organization established in 1958. They were the precusor to Heritage and many other think tanks that came later. Many do not know that it was the ASCF that developed the Strategy of "Peace through Strength". You hear the phrase a lot today and even are told that this was invented by President Reagan when truth be President Reagan on many occassions noted that he adopted the strategy from the ASCF for his parties platform during buth campaigns for president. Today the ASCF is carrying on the tradition they started over 5 decades ago and work to promote national security, economic security, diplomatic security and moral leadership.
