Mission: The Rio Hondo Chapter provides services to over 650,000 residents in 9 cities of south east Los Angeles County. Chartered over 80 years ago the chapter is responsible for providing emergency planning, disaster and emergency relief, community health programs, safety education, youth leadership development, volunteer training, and emergency services. Annually, more than 26,000 lives are touched by the Rio Hondo Chapter of the American Red Cross.
