Mission: The purpose of the foundation is to assist and support the american psychiatric association in accomplishing its educational and scientific purposes by performing fundraising functions and by developing public and professional activities to advance education in mental health and psychiatric disorders, and related mental health subjects and to promote the treatment of psychiatric illness.
Programs: Research & training - contributed to the scientific basis of psychiatric practice, policy and works to strengthen the research infrastructure in the field of psychiatry. Improved the quality of psychiatric care by conducting and supporting clinical and health services research and training activities.
