Mission: The american polocrosse association (apa) player development program (pdp), governed by the player development committee (pdc) is designed to provide educational programs and administrative support to improve all levels of play for all members of the apa through a coaching accreditation program, a domestic development and clinic coordination program, and an international tour program.
Programs: Nationals - tournaments are conducted to introduce individuals to the sport of polocrosse including education in the rules, in training and an opportunity to participate in organized matches as well as train participants for competition. A national tournament is conducted annually to promote the sport of polocrosse on the national venue; including educating the public about the sport and the importance of sportsmanship and the protection and welfare of the horses and players.
under 16 exchange - as a member of the international polocrossse association, the organization promotes international competition for players under age 16. The association promotes the importance of sportsmanship and learning other cultures. This program targets the youth of the association for development and education in the sport; and teaches horsemanship for safe and effective play .

world cup - as a member of the international polocrosse associaiton, the organization competes to promote an international presence in the sport of polocrosse and educate the public on the sport and demonstrate te importance of sportsmanship and the protection and welfare of the horses and players.
