Programs: Operation sidekick/shelter to service program - rescue pregnant female pit bulls from high kill shelters, whelp, raise, and train the puppies as service dogs for veterans with ptsd.

humane education - teach youth, (pre-school through high school) about responsible dog ownership through compassionate care, anti-dogfighting, disease and prevention, dog bite prevention, and understanding canines.

outreach/helping hands serves the underserved in the community with medical treatments, (surgeries, heartworm treatment, etc. ), nutrition, shelter, vaccinations, deworming, spays/neuters, etc.

APBF has not updated their IRS filings and refuses to give written confirmation of the full schedule of compensations of its board members. While they verbally state the compensation is somewhere near $20,000 per year board members that have left have stated the salary is higher with additional compensations to defer tax liabilities and to provide transportation for the CEO.
