Mission: The American Lung Association of Colorado (ALAC) provides community programs and services in the areas of asthma, smoking prevention and cessation, air quality and lung disease. ALAC's goals are to educate Coloradoans about lung disease, the third leading cause of death in the US; to support pulmonary research that will lead to a cure or increase the quality of life for those who suffer from lung disease; and to help change or establish local and state laws that will protect the health of Coloradoans.
