the 13th annual eagle star awards gala is aiei's community flagship event, honoring the people and companies who have contributed to the southeast -israel business relationship. The program was held on june 11, 2014 and hosted by at&t mobility, attended by 270 people, presents an award to the israeli company of the year (with headquarters in the southeast), the deal of the year award and the u. S. Company of the year (new award). Aiei also recognizes a volunteer leader with the tom glaser leadership award and a community organization with the community partner award. The keynote speaker, glenn lurie, president, at&t mobility shared with the audience the israeli innovation that impacts the mobility industry, the activity at the at&t foundry in ra'anana, israel and highlighted the value and important work of aiei in educating business leaders and the next generation of business students.
the 18th annual professional and business seminar was held on august 21, 2015. The theme of the program was "enhancing u. S. -israel connections through innovation and expertise". The program was designed to provide a timely, half day seminar for 85 business professionals and economic developers interested in learning about the benefits of entering into and pursuing commercial and research relationships with israeli companies. Participants learned important factors related to investment, legal considerations, accounting and audit processes, administrative practice, business culture, trade and mergers/acquisitions of bi-lateral business arrangements with israeli companies. The materials were presented through the use of case studies, panel presentations/discussions and a keynote speaker.
