I have volunteered at Yad Eliezer numerous times, and the programs they run are life-saving for the recipients. Their programs include food packages, wedding sponsorships, baby formula packages, dental services, soldier packages, and beyond. Most of the money raised goes directly to the recipients. Yad Eliezer delivers help with sensitivity, warmth, and care.

I have been donating to this charity for several years and it is amazing what they do with the contributions, most of the money goes to the program. I only wish that more people would contribute.

I have worked in social services in Israel, and I have to say that what Yad Eliezer make such a huge impact, I wish that the social services were run as well. The warmth that is received by each recipient along with the practical help is really impressive. I have heard from recipients that feel that they have nobody else in the world, and Yad Eliezer is their family. They have extensive programs that help the most needy all over Israel. It is an honor to me a part of their work. Without it, thousands of people in Israel would not have what to eat.

This non profit has a very low overhead, all the money goes to needy people, babies for formula, etc

I think this is as good as it gets. Almost all l the money goes to driect dervices to the poor. For example, they have a food package program, and while they have to pay for the food - though at much lower prices than you and I can buy it - the delivery is done by volunteers. So is their big brother/big sister program and a kost of other prgrams that service the most needy. No "chairman of the board" making a 7 figure salary or hiring family members, etc.
