Mission: Kol Banaich was founded in 1998 as a response to the growing Israeli problem of youths-at-risk. A growing number of teenagers have been slipping through the cracks of the traditional institutions. Our mission is to bring these youths back into the mainstream society and give them vocational training in a traditional Jewish setting. The setting, along with extensive professional counseling, helps build their self-esteem to participate in the social sphere where their families and friends live and work. We coordinate our work with the Ministries of Education and Labor to meet and exceed the standards of mainstream institutions.
