This organization provides Ariel with the services and infrastructure that make Ariel a wonderful place to live. My husband and I came to Ariel from New York and were amazed at how the organization helped us to feel at home, give us direction as to the best places for the help we needed in order to feel that we belong in this remarkable city. Whenever there is a question of how or where, we turn to them because we know that they will always take the time to listen and help and steer us in the right direction. American Friends of Ariel provides playgrounds, equipment to health centers, help to school children who cannot afford the price of school supplies. They have helped to build a cultural center, sports venues, etc. I do not believe that Ariel would attract the many English speaking immigrants that it does, if there were no American Friends of Ariel. Congratulations to them on the fine work they do.

The Ariel Development Fund provides outreach for Samaria, bringing in new faces, new programming and promoting Ariel in the media. They also help support new business in the Ariel region and encourage tourism.
This year, the ADF brought in Artists for Israel, who painted beautiful murals on walls within the city.

This organization supports a town that my family and I made aliyah (immigrated)to 2 years ago from NYC. In the City of Ariel, the immigration absorption bumps have been smoothed out so my family and I can experience a manageable adjustment period. We feel like we've been home for much longer than 2 years. This organization is creating a viable infrastructure in Ariel which allows the city to create benefits for Israelis and Arabs alike. Ariel is able to promote peaceful living with our Arab neighbors by providing water and electricity. My husband works at the local industrial area side by side with thousands of Palestinians who are treated as equals and with respect. If you really want to know what the model of peace looks like then come visit Ariel.

This charity is funding illegal settlement activity in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Any donation should not be tax deductible as their charitable activities undermine U.S. policies and violate international law. I would highly recommend not giving to this charity.
