Causes: Boards of Trade
Mission: To protect the public interest, to advance the professional quality of consulting engineering both nationally and in maine by continually improving the business practices of consulting engineering, and otherwise to promote the common business interests of its members.
Programs: Activities include: financially supporting the national acec to assure member access to their services; manage the fall forum, engineering excellence awards program, statewide and regional membership meetings, the acec of maine website and quarterly newsletters; monitor, report and participate in state and federal legislative, regulatory and administrative actions; and ensure member participation on joint committees with the maine department of transportation and the maine department of environmental protection.
