Mission: Direct financial assistance to families with ill or impoverished children to cover medical, funeral, household expenses and temporary assistance. Also to supply free or low cost donated vehicles to needy and low income families. To supply clothing, food and other basic needs for needy children. To support local school awareness programs.
Results: 2012 - Hurricane Sandy hit our home state. The days and weeks after the storm, we assisted over 200 individuals and families by delivering food and clothing to the hardest hit areas.

I would like to pulicly thank the American Children's Society for coming to the aid of my family in Kansas City, MO. After enduring a heart breaking illness to out youngest child, which required our constant care and presence, our utilties and other major bills fell far behind. Our case worker at Children's Mercy Hospital referred our family to the local America Children's Society office and they immediately stepped in and provided much needed assistance. This was a blessing we will never forget. Thank you.
