I recently had hernia surgery and a week later couldn't really breathe that well. I saw the signs and symptoms page of ABCA and I immediately realized that I had a blood clot in my lungs. By the time I got to the hospital, I was touch and go. They found that I had multiple blood clots(pulmonary embolisms) in my right lung and immediately started blood thinners. After a couple days in the hospital, I am back home and doing great. I am glad there is a resource out there like ABCA.

The information that was provided by ABCA on signs and symptoms of blood clots helped my mother to realize that she had a blood clot. She went to the hospital and was put on a blood thinner and is now doing great. The hospital said if we hadn't come into the hospital, it wouldn't have turned out well. We are so thankful for the ABCA!!
