Mission: Aarmr's primary mission is to promote the exchange of information and education concerning the licensing, supervision and regulation of the residential mortgage industry, to ensure the ability of state mortgage regulators to provide effective mortgage supervision for a safe and sound industry meeting the needs of the local financial markets, and to protect the rights of consumers.
Programs: The annual regulatory conference is attended by general (state) members and affiliate (industry) members who come together to network, share information and hear presentations on residential mortgage issues of mutual interest. The 2017 conference had over 300 attendees.
advanced examiner schools: advanced training was attended by 154 examiners (spring school 100, fall school 54) with more than one year of experience in regulation of mortgage brokers, lenders and loan originators in their respective states.
