Dr. Connie Siskowski and the AACY team do an excellent job of providing Caregiving Youth the support they need to excel in school and assist with the daily responsibilities of taking care of a loved one. AACY lets these kids know that they are not alone.
I had the honor of working with Dr. Connie Siskowski as she broadened the AACY's efforts in Palm Beach County several years ago. I was the Executive Director of the Toppel Family Foundation at the time and we were privileged to assist Connie and the AACY in receiving a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation LFP grant. This process included a tight evaluation piece and community collaboration.
The AACY services this community beautifully - with respect to the clients, accountability to the donors, and an incredibly high ethical bar.
If you are thinking about partnering with Connie or the AACY, please know that your efforts will bear fruit and your trust will be well founded.
