Amba Farmers is an effective non-profit that is making an impact in lives of People in Western Africa specially in Cameroon and Nigeria.
despite the hard political environment they are doing very well, and expect them to deliver more in few years to come. because they have a growing community of supporters and also the beneficiaries.
Amba Farmers is such an amazing NGO that deserves more support in order to make difference and positive change in lives of people in Africa!
Bravo Amba Farmers Voice. This is a transformational organization. Though meant to empower refugees and the displaced, I must say it transformed me, and I am neither a refugee, displaced or disadvantaged person. AFV is a door to a whole new world of life saving, money making farming opportunities and activies out there. From rearing animals, to planting seeds, to the preservation of seeds and crops, AFV provides a niche for everyone. What a great resource! Keep up the great work AFV, we love you
AFV is an organisation out to help the weak and the vulnerable. One would easily give up their property to enable AFV help the needy.
We have had the honour to work with them and I would immediately grab any opportunity that comes our way to do so again.
A huge thank you for your selflessness.
Amba Famers Voice is very committed to look for affordable easily adaptable solutions to improve the lives of rural communities especially women.
The Group of cooperatives we support in Cameroon partnered with this NGO to organize a series of high impact training of trainers on appropriate technology for rural development for cooperative members who in turn are propagating the knowledge by training others.
We are planning to partner with Amba Farmers Voice to organize further training in bee farming and pisciculture.
We are very happy with this partnership.
AMBA Farmer's Voice is a great non-profit that truly teaches people to fish, not just giving aid to those in need. AMBA uses market based strategies to empower IDPs (internally displaced persons) and refugees from war torn Cameroon. These strategies provide practical equipment, education and aid to empower those in need. This method has led to sustainable outcomes, where those in need become owners in their own success.
Cameroon is an absolutely beautiful country, but it epitomizes the need for self-determination outlined by Woodrow Wilson over 100 years ago. We could get mired in historical facts and the effects of colonialism around the world, these truths shouldn't be forgotten or glossed over. Yet, what AMBA Farmer's Voice is doing is helping those in need today, and building a more resilient, peaceful community for tomorrow.
Please support in any way you can!
Amba Farmers Voice (AFV) work literally brings and sustains life!
In teaching and providing materials for refugees and Internal Displaced Persons (IDPs) of the Anglophone crisis in Cameroon - whose very own lives have been diminished by the deprivation and trauma of war - in crop cultivation and animal husbandry and many other areas, they bring and sustain life in the current environment of these victims while preserving their human dignity.
I firmly believe the training provided by AFV will stay with those who currently benefit from it long after the conflict is over and will help mitigate the hardships and pitfalls normally associated with post-conflict populations.
AFV may indeed be an innovation in addressing the needs of displaced populations during wars and could be used as a template in the future.
AFV needs all of our support!
I am a volunteer with Amba’s farmers voice. We help to educate the vulnerable populations on agriculture, natural sustainable health and healing through agricultural products. Amba farmers voice has been very dedicating in helping the refugees, Internally displaced persons and other impoverished members of the communities to acquire skills and knowledge to enable them to improve their world being through agriculture. Also give farmers the various techniques on producing their own fertilizer, animal feed, other forms of commercial farming and how to be successful. Amba farmers voice has been able to through their intervention to remove many families from poverty. Great organization, impacting the communities.
My organization Mawuh Solutions has carried out a farming project together with Amba Farmer’s voice and it was quite helpful to the elderly refugees citizens of Ogoja. It was a great experience.
This is a project that helps empower Ambazonians to eradicate hunger and future famine that might arise because of the ongoing war in Ambazonia. Since the destructive regime of La Republique du Cameroun targets the people's farms and their storage facilities burning their reserves.
The indicators of this project were very thoughtful to solve problems of foods foodshortage that we've seen in many nations around the world fighting war.
It also partners with other nations and are willing to share their expertise to help them resolve the problems of foodshortage they're facing during their postwar period.
It's worthwhile if this nonprofit is supported with its requirements for most if not all of its projects are organic and environmental friendly.
