Mission: The Alzheimer's Association, Mid South Chapter, is a non-profit organization that:- Promotes and provides quality education and training for the community and professionals,- Delivers accurate information and referrals to the community,- Provides support for patients, families, and caregivers,- Advocates for public policy and legislation that will improve supportive services for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and their caregivers, - Encourages and supports research into the prevention, cause, improved diagnoses, therapy, and cure of Alzheimer's diseases and related disorders.In 2001, the Alzheimer's Association, Mid South Chapter was created when four chapters in Alabama and Tennessee joined forces to serve more individuals and families living with Alzheimer's.
