Summer Joy is a volunteer. She helps clients as they pull up in their vehicle get signed up with proof of residency and driver's license. Clients can go one time a month. As a client, our family of 5 has been greatly assisted by Helping Hands for Jesus. It has made a huge difference in getting good food we normally pass by because we are limited to essentials in the grocery store. Like a variety of meats, fresh veggies, fruits, snacks, and different kinds of breads. We do not get any state or federal assistance because our income is just over the level and they don't take medical co-pays into consideration. Helping Hands has a minister who will talk and pray if you want him, too; he is very friendly. If you are finding the grocery bill in an area you have had to scrimp on just to live then I recommend these people.
