Mission: To kokua hawaiian natives who are committed to achieving their potential for themselves, their families and communities.
Programs: Native hawaiian career and technical education program (nhctep): contributed to native hawaiians' self-sufficiency by providing vocational, career and technical education and training programs. Approximately 480 native hawaiians were served during the year.
federal workforce innovation & opportunity act programs: provided employment and training services statewide to approximately 558 adults and 811 youths with program activities providing classroom training, work experience and on the job training.
social and economic development project: promotes health and well-being for native hawaiians age 60 and older through nutrition and supportive services. Lunch meals are served at fifteen central community sites statewide or delivered to homes of frail elders. Transportation is provided to and from sites as well as for shopping and medical appointments during site hours.
