I am currently a regular donor but also a now six-year graduate of this increasingly valuable organization's program. Along Side Ministries opened their arms to me in 2013, three years before my prison release date, and provided housing for me for 1 1/2 years afterwards. One would have to search far and wide for a better transition opportunity for the formerly incarcerated.
Mentorship, fellowship, community, and recovery are just the tips of the iceberg as to what's provided for the Men's and Women's programs. Lives are indelibly changed because of this organization, and I'm proud to be affiliated with them. All time, resources, and monies are invested very wisely here. God will continue to bless this organization, and all who participate and invest in it.

For years I volunteered in Arizona jails and prisons, gaining important teaching and experience through Alongside Ministries tutelage. Their reputation in providing well-trained, compassionate volunteers has always impressed me. My years under their leadership will always be treasured.
I've been serving with Along Side Ministries for about 2 years now. It's been amazing watching the transformation of men. Seeking in hunger and truth the knowledge of Christ!! In the process I've been blessed even more from these brothers in Christ! Awesome display of love, loyalty, commitment and perseverance!

i started volunteering for Along Side Ministries in 2014.. i have been with them for almost 5 years and have mentored several women and see the difference this program can make in a man or woman's life. There is really no other program like it.
Started with this ministry over 20 years ago and it is my humble experience that ..I have been served by this ministry experience MORE than I have served in this ministry.. Men's lives have been transformed by the healing love of Jesus expressed by many in this body of believers..
God be praised! If the Lord wills..and I live .. many more years ahead!
For over 15 years I have been going into the jail as a volunteer to conduct devotionals and teaching the Bible. It is a rewarding experience and one that is made easier with the support of Alongside Ministries. I have seen lives changed and souls saved through the tireless efforts of those in this organization. Time and money is well spent here.
What a wonderful ministry! Truly the hands and feet of Jesus, helping the incarcerated prepare for a new life in Christ on the outside. So fulfilling for myself as a mentor volunteer. A staff of some very talented people keep the ministry on course. If I were to be in prison, this ministry would be an easy choice to go to!
Alongside Ministries plays a crucial role in helping our Brothers and Sisters in Christ successfully transition from life inside of prison to life outside. The mentoring program is amazing. You meet with your mentee for about 9 months or more on the inside, pick them up at the gate upon release and continue to mentor them for another 9 months or so. The inside and out is the key part to the success. Prepare for release and walk with them once released. We all trip up, but having someone there to help you through it is so important.
I had the pleasure of watching my mentee graduate the program recently. What an incredible experience! I can't wait to watch her continue to thrive in her new life!
Thank you to everyone who donates to and volunteers with Alongside Ministries!
Alongside Ministries is an amazing organization with even more amazing people. The restoration that they foster in the lives of men and women is nothing short of remarkable. I have the privilege of watching these men and women thrive in their second chance at life.
Along Side Ministries does a fantastic job with helping and supporting men and women who come from prison. My experience with them has been phenomenal. They give you the ability to give back and you get to see the transformation of men and womens lives changing from prison to the outside world. They have a 10 % recividism rate for those who finish the program compared to the state and nation rate of 70%.
