Penny george institute for health and healing outpatient clinic west health campus buildout - 2014 grant $1,200,000the outpatient clinic includes a waiting/reception room, 7 treatment rooms, studio and practitioner work space. The build out included an energy assessment as well as other healing environments. Services provided at the clinic include integrative health consultations, nutrition, acupuncture, massage, integrative psychology consults and health coaching. New ulm medical center birth center- 2014 grant $ 207,372the birth center capital expansion at new ulm medical center included increasing the number of patient rooms from four to six to accomodate 25% of ob patients that were staying outside of the birth center unit due to lack of space,improving infant safety by relocating the nursery and installing an infant security system, increasing the space of the nurses' station to improve patient privacy and employee engagement, adding a birth center waiting area designated for families and children, adding a lactation consultation room, and adding additional storage. J. A. Wedum residential hospice - 2014 grant $125,566the j. A. Wedum residential hospice is designed for patients with a life-limiting illness who need professional round-the-clock care. The wedum hospice provides patients with a home to live each day in comfort, with dignity and surrounded by love. Wedum is a medicare certified facility. Cambridge medical center's emergency department- 2014 grant $57,374 the emergency room now includes 21 private rooms, including four trauma/cardiac rooms specially designed for critically ill patients, a decontamination room, and four rooms for patients needing a safe environment. Special spaces for families are available and the entire facility is designed to provide care in a quiet and calming environment.

Buffalo hospital's "caring for co-workers" provides confidential emergency assistance to hospital employees who suffer sudden economic hardship and are struggling to pay medical bills, rent and other everyday expenses. $14,353 in assistance was provided in 2014. $216,063 in assistance was provided in 2014 to pay medical bills for owatonna hospital hospice patients and wedum patient bills. Hospice's "tender loving care" program provides assistance to hospice patients who are experiencing financial hardships. $25,293 in assistance was provided in 2014 to assist with housing and living costs, medical and funeral costs.

" grants were given to support general clinic operations. Since 2007, the clinic has been providing free primary health care to low-income, uninsured residents of pierce and st. Croix counties in western wisconsin. $6,400 was provided to "brown county sheriff department". Grants provided to support the purchase of automated chest compression devices. $9,104 was provided to the "city of new ulm park and recreation department". Grants provided to support purchase of new equipment for the lose it to win it project.
