I do not know where me and family would be without this organization. NO... not everyone can afford a place to live. My daughter was 2 months old when we moved in. I had lost my job that I had since I moved to SWFL, which is now closed. My husband lost his job, concrete mason, We were surviving off of $180 a week with a rent of $550.00, do the math, it doesn't work. This organization gave us a trailer to live in, because we couldn't afford to buy one and even if we could've our credit was shot, we had used all of our savings, and were still not able to make ends meet. So the credit card that were once used as emergency became a dependency until the point they were maxed and we could no longer afford them. The same story is everywhere.... but this organization came to my families rescue, provided an affordable lot rent and gave us a trailer we could afford. They worked with us countless times and allowed us to pay our rent in increments without penalties. So to whoever believes this place is a ran down dump has forgotten to see the heart behind the organization. If if were not for Alliance of Casa La Linda, my family and I would have been homeless. I appreciate everything they have ever done for us and I know they continue to work with many others, who are transitioning from homelessness into housing and I Thank God that there is an organization willing to see a need and meet that need without being driven by greed.

Run down trailer park.

Needs to be cleaned up and trailers need to be made livable.

Low income renters could find better places in Ft Myers for about the same price.

Need help?
