As Treasurer and a Board Member for more than four years, I have been continually impressed by how All Peoples serves the needs of the community. This was especially evident after the fireworks explosion in the summer of 2021, which had a devastating effect on the nearby residents. All Peoples was there for them, advocating and establishing ways to provide relief.
College corner is very welcoming and Monse the college corner staff is very friendly and well organized!
I think this is a cool place for youth to come in and do homework and to have a place to come afterschool. I personally like coming here because they give me an opportunity to work and earn some money. They are flexible with students and their hours because they know they are in school.
All peoples Community Center is a well organized and hard working facility. They focus on educating the students and providing assistance to any way they can.
All people’s community center has helped me with many things. I want to start off with the help they offer, they would offer me advice about college and how applications are meant to be done and get guidance on writing my college applications. Volunteering helps me gain experience around the working area and in the long run would help me with my skills on how to do a perfect job.
I like All Peoples because they give me diapers for my kids. They food here is really great. I like the English classes here. I got my Tap card which saved me money on bus fare and I got my taxes filed!
Sometimes I experience long wait times and lots of paperwork to sign up for services. It takes a while for the workers to call me back to programs I want. I do like the food they give away here and my kids love the Christmas gifts here.
I like the service here. Everyone is nice. The food I receive here is stuff I would want to buy in stores. Thank you All Peoples.
I have worked with All Peoples for over 9 years now, and I continue to be impressed with the way that the organization consistently pivots to address the needs of the South LA community that it serves. I am so proud of the work with great heart that is done be each staff member, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve on Board.

All Peoples Community Center has proudly served the South LA community for over 81 years! It has become the cornerstone of the community, providing essential services for everyone within its service area. All Peoples provides Real Solutions, Real Heart, and Real Service because of our dedicated staff and exemplary executive team, and continues to adjust to the needs of the community. I'm proud to be associated with such a wonderful organization and look forward to 81 more years of service!
All Peoples has been serving the South LA for over 82 years. I am blown away by their holistic approach which focuses on youth and adults, families and individuals, immediate needs (food distribution, housing help, etc) and long term skills (financial literacy, tutoring and college prep, etc.) so that they fight poverty with a comprehensive strategy. I also love how over half of the staff come from the community as they were program-participants themselves. They give back by dedicating their lives to the community and paying forward everything they have received from All Peoples. It is for the people, by the people making lasting change. All Peoples is the literal heart and soul of South LA.

I was blown away by All People's holistic, multi-generational approach to empower the community and alleviate poverty. They offer after-school education, college prep, food distribution, counseling/mental health, financial counseling, ESL classes, pathways to citizenship, anti-recidivism program, senior programs, and so much more. Their district suffers 3x the LA county poverty rate but the community is resilient and there are triumphs. In July I got to meet a couple of seniors from their College Corner program. She was going to UC Riverside in the fall and the boyfriend to the Pomona colleges. They are both the first in the their family to attend college. My heart bursts with joy and pride for them. Almost half of the staff were program-participants and are a testament to what people can achieve when given support. They are incredibly dedicated to the people and community that they serve and are always striving to help even more. All Peoples is a place of compassion, hope and friendship. As someone who grew up in a working class, immigrant family, I wonder how different our lives could have been if we had a place like All Peoples. I want to ensure that All Peoples are able to reach and uplift as many people in the community as possible.
All Peoples has helped my family in diferent ways, the after school program has helped my children to succeed in their education and future as well.
I’ve served the underinvested communities of Los Angeles for over 25 years, and to this date I have not found another non-profit with a staff more committed to the mission of uplifting the families they serve than at All People’s Community Center. Let my comments here be an invitation to you, and all those that you know who care about human rights, equity, and progress; to visit us and witness what I have.

I have grateful to have had the chance to volunteer on this board and to see (and feel) how efficiently they work and how focused they are on their community. All People’s Community Center in Los Angeles is a critical hub for community development, serving local residents and organizations improving their lives and neighborhoods. One of the many factors that distinguishes this center is its robust governance under a Board of Directors that's as diverse as it is dedicated. The board's collective experience in community outreach, educational initiatives, and various services effectively impacts the grassroots level. Adding to this, the center has forged a valuable partnership with UCLA, particularly its Social Impact associations, as a commitment to continuous improvement and partnering with professionals in Los Angeles.
All People's Community Center is a model community organization, setting high standards through its exceptional governance and meaningful partnerships, all of which provide enriching experiences for everyone involved.

All Peoples Comunity Center has been a part of my life since I was a small child. The center has been very important in my life. I have used most programs from physical fitness, to taking classes there. As a Board Fellow at All Peoples Community Center through the UCLA Anderson School of Management, I have been deeply impressed with All Peoples's commitment and work to provide individuals and families in South Central Los Angeles with holistic social services and supports, including a community garden and food pantry, child care and teen programming, help with tax preparation, and language instruction.
For over 80 years, All People's Community Center (APCC) continues to serve the South LA community with heart, compassion, and justice. The history of APCC existing as a revolutionary multi-ethnic & multi-racial community space is in the DNA of the organization's leaders, staff, volunteers, community members, and Board of Directors. APCC safeguards the social safety net for South LA families by providing comprehensive services, which includes educational, economic, and social supports. By ensuring South LA families are holistically thriving, APCC supports the resiliency and self-determination of community members to continue a vision of equity, justice, and success for generations.
All Peoples serves as a safe space and more than a home for folks who come to the center. It’s a place that aims to empower, grow, and aid folks of all ages and backgrounds. The community has touched lives in every aspect ranging from education, food security, care services, to legal aid. This center needs more recognition for the amazing work they do and to continue doing the work they’ve been doing for several decades now.
I have been associated with this organization for over 25 years. APCC has provided services to 1000's of community stakeholders during this period. APCC is a beckon of hope and positivity for the South Los Angeles community.
All Peoples Community Center is there for the neighborhood. If for free food, counseling or programs for children with after school help. They have been there for over 80 years. I appreciate the food for seniors. What a help. And I feel they will be there many more years.

My experience with All Peoples Community Center goes back many years. As a teenager, I was able to take advantage of the programs and one of them, was what was at that time called Teen Camp. It was the first time going away from the inner city. We went to Yosemite for camping for a week. We were in Wonderland, hiking up to the falls, sleeping in tents and cooking our meals outside. To this day I can remember it like it was yesterday. That is just one memory that remains fresh in my mind. There are many more. All Peoples Community Center create these types of memories for so many children that may never have opportunities to get away. There are so many more programs now to help children and adults.
All Peoples Community Center is tiny service powerhouse. Serving one of the poorest and most densely populated communities in Los Angeles County, The Center serves hundreds of neighborhood clients with a wide array provisions and counseling. The Center offers many after school activities at it’s wonderful gym site including both athletic, educational, and vocational training. Among the programs administered at The Center are nutritional, educational, and citizenship programs. These guide it’s clients to eat healthily, finish high school, take advantage of technology, prepare tax documents, and advise on voting rights. I’m proud to be of service to this high-energy, client focused community server, and to work with it’s Executive Director, Saundra Bryant.
In the 1970's I needed child care and counseling. I was working, but I did not make enough income to support my family without welfare. Thanks to All Peoples I was able to become a teacher and support my family without welfare. Now I am able to give back by donating and working as a volunteer. It is exciting to me to see all the services that All Peoples continues to provide for families and youth in the community. When I first moved to the neighborhood, I was not happy but finding All Peoples changed my life for the better in many different ways.

I arrived in Los Angeles with a husband and two young girls in June of 1968. I started working as a clerk at an insurance company, and found child care for my 2 and 3 year old children with a woman who had 6 children of her own and didn't really want to babysit but needed the money. Before long my husband left me and I got concerned about what might happen if my children got really sick. I applied for Medical and I was eligible for financial aid as well because I made so little. The county put me on a waiting list for subsidized child care. When I found out about childcare at All Peoples Center I called. They had openings for both my girls, and I was able to afford the cost. When the oldest was having problems, the center referred me to an agency for evaluation. The agency told me she was fine, but I needed counseling. However, they were going to charge me more than I could possibly afford. The social worker at All Peoples told me that the pastor of the church had counseling groups and I started counseling with him. I retired in 2005 after teaching for 35 years for Los Angeles Unified School District. My children are now all married and all self supporting. One is an accountant with Ticketmaster, one is a charge nurse at County USC Hospital, and my youngest daughter is a special education teacher with Los Angeles Unified. Currently, I volunteer at the Center when I am in Los Angeles. All of this is because of the support I received as a confused young mother and incest survivor at All Peoples Christian Center.
In its 80th year anniversary, All Peoples Community Center continues to shine brighter and brighter within its surrounding community and beyond. Its roots have helped it blossom and grow beyond the imagination of the many whose prayers, faith, hard work, generosity, and determination have supported it into reality. It is a beacon! All Peoples has continued to meet the needs of families, people of all ages, here they are not forgotten and find relevant care in a variety of ways. I am grateful for its dedicated and committed staff. A few represent generations of service, volunteerism, and live out the legacy of caring for its community and familia. Together, they follow the incomparable and longtime Executive Director, Mrs. Saundra Bryant who is a treasure.

All Peoples Community Center is a shining example of what local, surrounding and faith communities can accomplish, together. Its longtime efforts have served, supported and cared for needs at a grassroots level. Since its inception, it listens for ways it can meet unmet needs, creating services and providing donors / volunteers with opportunities to foster change in the city. In my short time, as a board member, following in the steps of my predecessors, I believe our faith tradition has been enriched and enlivened everyday by our historical and integral supports of APCC. We are proud of the tangible ways, APCC helps serve the children, youth, young adults and the whole family in the community. It is a beacon!

I volunteer as a board intern at APCC, and the dedication of its staff and board has been amazing to witness. Their numerous programs serve its community in ways the people need it most.
I joined the All Peoples Community Center as an intern on their Board of Directors and have been consistently astounded by the quantity and quality of services that they provide to the South LA community.
All Peoples is a remarkable, resourceful institution, in its 80th year of providing essential services to its hard-working neighbors in an otherwise underserved corner of Los Angeles. Year in and year out, the center continues to earn the absolute trust of the surrounding community and of the City of Los Angeles through well-conceived and well-executed programs delivered to thousands. Effective, efficient, and representing the very best of the American Dream.

All Peoples is an exceptional organization in no small part due to the street cred it has earned from 79 years of service to the community. An amazing amount of critical work gets done, very effectively and very efficiently, because community members trust Saundra Bryant and her team to do the right things the right way - highlighted more than ever by All Peoples' delivery of vital new services throughout the COVID19 pandemic. In my six years as a board member, I have never been prouder, but I can't say I'm surprised. Nice job!
This place is a haven, a hub, and a longstanding trusted institution.
Serving South LA for 80 years this year, All Peoples Community Center provides support for individuals and families at every stage of life and for nearly every conceivable need.
From all-day preschool, after school programs, youth summer camps and sports programs, food assistance, a community garden, tenant support programs, health fairs, financial literacy training, internet access, computer training, domestic violence support, college counseling, scholarships, job training, to a retired seniors volunteer program, there are too many programs to list- not to mention the fun and the care and the deep sense of community that you will find there.
Their budge is lean, their staff is ingenious and and motivated, and the members of the community are always willing to help one another. They do a lot with a little. But they could do more with more!
So, whether you are looking for a nonprofit to support or place to go to for support, All Peoples is the place for you.
I am so grateful to have been apart of the All Peoples Community Center team for a whole year now! All Peoples has a variety of resources available to individuals and families that range from food, clothing, and hygiene products to counseling, youth programs, and financial case management. This organization values self-determination and is led by selfless and hardworking individuals who devote themselves to promoting community empowerment and helping community members persevere through difficult times, especially throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. I am fortunate enough to have learned and worked directly alongside the Executive Director, Saundra Bryant, as well as the FSC Director, Julio Ramos and countless other staff during my time as a Counseling Intern and in my temporary position as Housing Stability Advisor for the Homelessness Prevention Program. With the help of generous donors, organizations like All Peoples Community Center can continue to operate in low-income communities and do the essential work of helping create stronger and more self-reliant individuals and families.
All Peoples Community Center is a wonderful organization that promotes resilience and empowers Angelinos. This center is at the heart of Los Angeles and dedicated to supporting families, youth and adults. The multi-program services offered at the center fulfil the needs of the community and build a positive relationship with clients. All Peoples is here to celebrate success of our families, support during challenging events and encourage greatness for everyone who walks through the door.
APCC's unique history and breadth of services truly make it a staple of the South LA community. As someone who has worked with the board this year, I've seen how dedicated the center and its board are to providing its visitors with the resources and support they need to succeed.
APCC has been a pillar of the South LA community since its inception in 1942. In my dual roles as a community member and board representative, APCC has always supported countless children and families in our community, and I continue to be inspired by their leadership and caring staff. APCC truly works for and by the community by reducing barriers by providing concrete supports in times of need, providing educational opportunities, a safe place for families in a truly one of a kind family-like environment. APCC is a magical place, and my family and I are forever grateful.
I started out as a marketing professional willing to donate my time to help the center after seeing all the important work they do with the community continuously at the center of everything they do, to joining the Board of Directors in the past year. I'm honored to help All Peoples reach their goals of giving all they can to the South LA community, that after this last year, is struggling more than ever.
Thank you Susana and to your team and thanks to All Peoples Community Center for offering these programs for the children of the community to further develop their student knowledge and be more self-confident.
My name is Davis Monzon and I have been coming to All Peoples for almost 5 years now as part of the Summer Youth Employment Program. When I started here, all of the staff was very welcoming. Deisy always tries to go above and beyond for the youth she works with and provides them with any available resources. This is my go to place for a summer job. Even when jobs are not available, I am always willing to come volunteer here because the staff is really encouraging and nice. They are always willing to help us youth no matter what.
All Peoples Community Center’s mission is to empower individuals and promote community respect and self determination. Every day, their staff and leadership truly live by these words, providing essential services and support to so many - and always with kindness and dignity. I am delighted to endorse the good work of All Peoples.
I have been so impressed with the breadth of services provided by All Peoples Community Center - and by the cost-effective way the organization operates. Even my modest donation goes a long way in helping them serve so many in our community, and I appreciate seeing my gift make a difference.
I got the opportunity to work with All Peoples Community Center earlier this year on an internal initiative project. It was great to see that this organization truly practices what they preach from all levels of the organization. They are continuously striving to make a positive impact in the community and the individuals that live in it. I'm grateful for the dedicated staff who work tirelessly to improve their organization so they can serve as many people as possible.
My experience with All Peoples Community Center has been a very informative and the center is all about helping anyone in the community. I was helping the youth department and I learned working on clerical duties. I had the opportunity to work with the youth at the center and meet staff that helped train me throughout my volunteering hours. If I had a question I was never put down or turned away, I immediately got help. Helping the community is their 1# priority and just finding any way to provide the services.
I love volunteering at All Peoples! It feels like a family and their love and support for their community is truly inspiring. They hate turning away clients and do everything in their power to make sure a client leaves with something to help empower them.
I have been here since 2018 and they have helped me with FAFSA, employment and this center has helped me improve my communication skills.
All Peoples was there when my family needed help. They assisted with food when we did not have any other resources. this is the one organization that I go to no matter what my problem is and I know they will help me.
All People has affected my life because it gave me my first job when I was 15. They have given me a summer job for the past 4 summers. They have taught me work skills and have also taught me about banking and budgeting.
Thank you All Peoples staff for everything that you do for the kids and the families. In these tough times you still manage to be able to help the community whether its with food, sanitizing essentials, school supplies, clothing or any other essential needs. Thank you for your continued support.
All Peoples is a great place to come and get assistance with whatever you need. I have been coming to All Peoples for over three years as part of the Summer Youth Employment program. The staff there has assisted with me getting summer jobs, assistance with my FAFSA, college applications, and any educational need. They have also helped my family with food and school supplies.
I have worked with All People’s Community Center in a volunteer capacity and was able to see, first hand, the compassionate team behind the mission. They are continuously striving for improvement and they go the extra mile to complete what’s required of them. It’s clear they really care about the community - they are an important part of it!
I'm proud to see the impact that All Peoples creates in the surrounding community. Every single person on staff, starting with the Executive DIrector, Saundra Bryant to the volunteers, works tirelessly day in and day out to make a difference in the community. Their dedication & commitment to the community is admirable and serves as a great example of what a great nonprofit should be like.
For over 75 years All People Community Center has been improving the lives of people in the South LA community. That's 75 years of support, encouragement, advising, engagement, growth, and sustenance that has helped thousands of people in hundreds of thousands of ways. There is no apt metaphor for the Center; it's a gem, it's an oasis, it's a remedy, it's a haven, but in so many ways it is simply "magic." It represents the magic of what happens when people discover that there is a safe and welcoming place their whole family can go to find the support they need to grow and thrive. And now, after much effort by the staff and the community, All Peoples is even better and stronger than before. Just in the past year, they've opened up a brand new playground and a beautiful Community Farm, they've remodeled the gym, made crucial infrastructure upgrades, and increased their staff size. This means that more people are finding the help and support they need than ever before. Congratulations All Peoples Community Center on 77 years of service, here's to many more years to come!

There is not enough I can say about the value that All Peoples Community Center provides to the surrounding community. The Center has something to offer to all individuals at every stage of life. There is a full-service day care, after school programs, and an alternative high school, college prep programs, job training, legal and immigration services, food assistance, a working micro-farm, computer training, financial planning programs, on-site full-time social workers, domestic violence and gang remediation support, sports programs, and exercise classes, book fairs, and health fairs, and summer camps for kids and families, and a Senior Volunteer program. The list really does go on and on. And they have been serving the community in this way for 76 years and counting!
No one does the work of bettering the lives all people than All Peoples Community Center. Margaret Mead once said, that we should "never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." The individuals who work and volunteer at All Peoples prove this to be true; they change the world by changing people's day-to-day lives, by providing opportunity where there was none, and by insuring that anyone who needs assistance can find it there. I am thrilled and honored to be a part of their organization and to help insure that the Center can continue to provide services to the South LA community for another 76 years or more.
I am very appreciative towards all the staff in All Peoples especially with Ilda Morales. There are very few people like her and Noel Lopez. Thank you for all the sevices you have provided for me and my husband.

I continue to support this organization because my family received services many years ago. we enjoyed going to camp and having a place where people really really care. So many people have benefitted from the services, I hope more people will decide to give back like I do. I know the center could use the resources.
Los trabajadores de All Peoples siempre hacen todo lo posible para ayudar las familias. Me gusta ser parte de un centro que nos hace sentir parte de la familia. Gracias por todo la ayuda y servicios.
Such a great place. Its in the middle of a large neighborhood and is even starting a garden! They offer varieties of help such as english learning, financial help, and even have an after school program for the kids.
I usually don't write reviews for anything or anyone, but this was different. This organization has helped my family so much when we were in need. We have looked for help in so many places to no avail. My case manager Hilda is like Heaven sent. She has helped up with supplies for my husband's job, provided books for the kids, and a lot of other services. I have never been to any place where all the staff are genuinely nice and helpful. I am thankful for all the help and the people that we have met.
Staff is friendly and passionate about helping the community. There is always something to do at APCC.

I have been involved as a volunteer and/or Board Member with the All Peoples Community Center for almost 30 years. I have seen first hand the enormous positive impact the Center has had on some of the City's most dis-advantaged residents. The Center provides a number of valuable services including daycare, a food bank, parenting classes, back-to-school events where school supplies are provided to students and a safe after-school environment for students from the nearby middle school. It is considered one of Los Angeles' best kept secret and was recognized in a newspaper article as one of the institutions helping to reduce childhood hunger in Los Angeles.

All Peoples Community Center is one of the best resources for the community, they have services for the entire family. I had my son in the Summer Program and they kept him busy not only with academic work, but also with field trips. I am very thankful for a place like this where our children are safe and learning.

Since I arrived at the center I experienced the energy of the staff, happy and joyful. There are so many wonderful things going on for the community that the staff works extra hard to make it easier for the families to get resources. Everyone is welcome and that feeling you can get once you step foot in All Peoples Community Center!

I had the opportunity to work for All Peoples Community Center as an Afterschool program coordinator from 2002 to 2005. It was my first job with a non-profit community organization and I loved my time there. I worked with the young promising students on their paths towards completing their high school education. I am still friends with many of the young people who went through the program during those years and am proud of them for their achievements. All Peoples Community Center is a shining beacon of hope for many young people facing daily challenges in South Central Los Angeles.
I must say the name All Peoples Community Center says it all. I have been in other so called Community based non-profit organizations and truthfully I've been disgusted. They state their a non-profit yet they will turn away clients, not provide services and aren't for the community. Yet All Peoples is totally the opposite they will go above and beyond to ensure that the clients receive all the services they may need. No one is ever turned away. All Peoples has done so many great things for me and my family. It's truly a blessing to have a Great Non-Profit Organization like All Peoples Community Center.
Thank You! All Peoples Community Center
All Peoples influenced my life as a teen and the lessons today are the same as they were then, love one another and respect All Peoples. The mission and the community is better for All Peoples being there.
APCC is a highly respected and effective organization serving South L.A., and it is led by one of the most dedicated leaders in the Los Angeles nonprofit sector. APCC provides vital support and opportunities for youth, families and seniors in need, and the APCC staff is known for its warmth and heart. As a colleague organization, we appreciate APCC and love partnering in service. Thank you Saundra Bryant and all the great APCC staff for your exemplary leadership and all the good that you do every day.
All Peoples has long been committed to its neighborhood. All Peoples uses its resources to build community among neighborhood residents, volunteers, staff and donors. It is a genuine partnership among all of those involved, respecting the integrity, social circumstances, ethnicity, gender and age of all. It works in relationship to other entities, from health services to police and educational institutions.
I work at AADAP and many of our clients and many of my friends have benefited from the wonderful programs here. The staff is caring and hard working and the environment is nurturing :)
I volunteered an entire summer at All Peoples Community Center with their youth and teen programs. A highlight for me was the week we took the children to a weeklong camp in the San Bernardino Mountains. I took vacation time to repeat my volunteer service in subsequent years. All Peoples staff are first rate in creativity and in their sensitivity to the people they serve.
All peoples is a home for everybody, all the staff is always willing to help you, you fell welcome every time you walk in, everybody is very friendly, they really have a great heart to help everybody.
All peoples is a place where whether or not they have the means to help, they still help! It is a place where no one is turned away no matter what their circumstance is. APCC is a save haven for many children, low income and at risk youth, homeless people, and many more participants. Apcc also offers a wide range of services including an after school program, domestic violence classes, parenting classes, an RSVP program and many more adult and family services! Thank you APCC for all your hard work and dedication to the community.
All Peoples is the home away from home. The staff and the Executive Director are always willing and ready to assist clients with any type of needs.
I've served on the Board of All Peoples Community Center for almost four years. This is a community center truly dedicated to the community, run not by outsiders but by input and hard work by the families who take advantage of the services as well as that of the staff. It's all about empowering the people in the community to have the best possible future. The kids in the day care and after school tutoring program are always smiling and the women in the support group visibly overcome the difficulty of the past, demonstrating courage and self-confidence.

I'm constantly surprised at the quality and extent of the services offered by the dedicated staff of All Peoples Community Center. The leadership is still committed to the founding vision - lovingly and respectfully meeting the specific needs identified by the residents of the community. Despite the impact of the economic downturn and drastic cuts to funding the staff remains upbeat and determined to provide the same quality of services the community has come to expect over seventy years - day care, after school tutoring, parenting classes, summer camp, food distribution, the annual health and resource fair, and so much more. I love being on-site and seeing the smiles on the faces of the clients, from preschool to adult.
One of my favorite nonprofits in Los Angeles. Truly community-focused, collaborative and responsive to needs. As community demographics have shifted over the years, All Peoples has shifted its programming accordingly. You see the same staff faces year after year because it is such a positive place to be, with an amazing spirit. An organization that really lives up to its name.
All Peoples Community Center offers various programs for individuals without any restrictions including but not limited to income, language, race/ethnicity or age. Some programs offered by All Peoples Community Center are therapy, after school programs, food bank, and parenting class at low to no cost. The staff is friendly and helpful. The staff provides referrals to other community agencies who will be assist the individuals if All Peoples is unable to provide the services. This is a truly a NON- profit agency that empowers the residents in the community as indicated in their mission statement. It was fulfilling to volunteer in this agency and know I helped the agency as well as the individuals in the community.
Well I come to this program for help with my homework and to ask about future jobs that I can apply to or so I can focus on that point. I can advise this program to people that have trouble with applying for college or a job or even help with homework. This program has helped me by all the work I have or all the times I got confused with homework. With times that I have to type in work all I do is go to their computer lab and work on it.
i have been attending the after school program since I was a little kid and what I like about this place is that i can do my homework, play basketball with my friends in the gym.
All Peoples is a center where the staff members help out any person no matter their economic status, religion, or ethnicity. It is a good place to go and have a good time. You meet friends that could be consider your best friends!!!(in the long run).
I have been pat of All peoples since 1994, they help my family so much, now a'm proud to be part of the All Peoples's family, this is my second home, right here I have my second family. This is a safety place for youth to stay, they can have help in the After School Program, where they can do their homework, have fun and have friend.

a lot of help and i also have fun in all peoples. I barely got here and it was fun and i hope more people come to all peoples because you will have fun and learn and find best friends.
Well Honestly I Would Like To Say That All Peoples Is An Afterschool Program In Which My Parents Force Me To Come..
I Honestly Dont Like Coming Here But I Cant Do Anything About It..
It meets it's expectations it really gets you to talk to others and get involved in a lot of things like gardening and holiday activities and it really helps you with your homework.
This is my second home away from home. I feel very comfortable at this agency and support its mission 100%. I truly believe in All Peoples.
I found this great organization, when my younger sister graduated from High School. That was in the year 1998. Since, then I really liked the organiztion that would offer so much for the surrounding area. I am so proud to be a member of this great organization, that treats everyone that walks through its door with so much respect. I live by that and cannot wait to see how far this great non-profit will continue to serve the the area that is under represented here in the great city of Los Angeles.
When I was unemployed, they helped me with putting food in my house. They impressed me so, much that to this day, I am one of the faithful volunteers. This small organization helps so many of the community in south central. Volunteering here you will find so much resources, that will and can help the community in obtaining some help when it is needed. I am very happy that I practically stumbled into this great organization, and continue to still call them with any questions, or help that I may need!
It's extraordinary what this small yet impactful organization does to meet the important needs of the community. This is truly a local, neighborhood center that reaches out to youth, families, and seniors with an understanding that only one who's grown up here can attest to. Indeed, Sandy, the executive director, was an All Peoples member as a young girl, and has the heart of a champion.
Being part of All Peoples is a life changing experience. I am a Social Work intern here, and I feel honored to serve this agency. The staff is always very respectful and helpful to clients as well as myself. Many clients lives have changed for the better. They have all created a connection with each of the staff member that helps them. Changing someone's life for the better is the best gift the staff can get.
I have been working in education for about 15 years now and I have to say that this center has a strong backbone; communal love. It's the immediate and genuine love that people in this center have for each other. The family from ALL Peoples Community Center have a fundamental drive; motivation. I have seen the motivation that many of the staff members have for each other and for others that are naturally welcomed. I love to see this daily!
My parents were looking for childcare and brought me to All Peoples. All Peoples is about relationships and community. If you have a problem All Peoples will help you . I have so many memories of going to camp, learning to play sports, cooking . . . This place will be a part of my life forever
All Peoples is a second home for me. I've been at All Peoples since 1995 and I must admit I love this place. There is no place like ALL PEOPLES!!!
I was fortunate to be placed at APCC to do my internship back in 2002. I worked as an intern working in the LA BRIDGES program. Once I graduated I was lucky to get a position as Case Manager. APCC became my second home and that's were my experience and strong foundation was gain. The director Sandy treats her staff like family and always has an open door. She truly focuses on providing to the community and the youth with quality services. With the recent budget cuts many services were affected and some terminated. I wish In a near future I can see the center back up with so many services that every room is full and there is a full staff on board. I thank APCC because I was given the opportunity of personal and professional growth. Thanks to the many people that changed my life and to the life long lasting relationships that were born there.
All People's Christian Center has been a wonderful community partner. They welcome agencies to come into the center and offer much needed resources to the families in their community and maintain relationships for ongoing collaboration.
My experince here at APCC has been most exciting. All the people i have incounted here are driven by the joy of adding this community. I am glad inhelping this orginazation in its quest to make the comunity a better place for all. They give a helping hand in ways i could not have imagen. For example they provide food, toys, and all basic food producs in a common house hold. I feel that they go out of there way to help any one who ever needs a helping hand.
Volunteerimg here at All Peoples Community Center has been a rewarding experience. The people here are really nice and helpful and you can count on them for anything. I love volunteering here becaue the atmosphere is welcoming and warm. My job is to take care of the children who come to the summer day program. The children have so much fun when they come here, they want to stay as long as they can!
As previous employee, I have personally seen how effective All Peoples programs are and the amazing things they do for the community. All Peoples changes lives on a daily basis!
I've been involved with All Peoples Christian Center in one way or another for over 30 years. They really take their name seriously having multiple cultures, religions, classes, and creeds represented on their Board , staff, administration, volunteers, donors, and most importantly those in need who they serve. I've been a volunteer, and advisor. The people there are loving, disciplined, generous and talented. I've seen the difference they make. If you want to make a difference, I can't think of a better way to do it than to support this endeavour. Once, when I was there to clean up after a family fun night for local low-income families, it stuck me how the young staff member in charge that night could be out on a date, watching TV, or spending time with friends, but was expertly delegating authority with a smile to deal with a building full of fun-loving kids. The people at the center do the little things that lead to big results. With a smile.
I have had the opportunity to work with various nonprofit and community organizations in the South Central area of Los Angeles over the years. All People's is by far one of the best organizations in the community. The people are genuinely caring and dedicated, and the people that I have referred to All People's for assistance have all been very pleased and grateful. Its a wonderful organization.
My family is happy and honored to invest into this worthy community center (APCC) that shows results. For over 60 years this center has touched, loved, and raised a community to be accountable, resepctful, productive citizens. They offer hope to the hopeless, fathers to the fatherless and shelter to those experiencing psycho-social trauma. This center has been a beacon of hope in sometimes dark days in South L.A. Where else can children be in a safe environment and continuing their education, sports, and arts activities? Answer All Peoples!
All Peoples Christian Center is a place where you can find a lot services for the community. The staff are really helpfull and friendly with everybody. You can really feel the positive energy and I love this place not only because I feel that I am part of this family it is because I find services that can help the parents that I have in the preschool program.
I am a former high school student at A.P.C.C. it was a very good experience for me as a result of my attendance in the high school i was able to do alot of volunteer work there and i was also able to experience my first time at a christian camp in arkansas it was really nice and i got the oppurtunity to get to know alot of new people. Thank you to All Peoples i am who i am now.
During my childhood my sister and I used to come here for the children's summer day program. I decided to volunteer here since I really enjoyed and loved the experience I had here as a kid. I am a current volunteer and will continue to be as long as possible. A.P.C.C has taught me essential hard skills for my life. It is really a great environment and I would recommend parents, children, and volunteers here for the variety of program this community has to offer. The experience here is really great and everyone should be a part of it. (:
For a non profit organization to be part of a community for 70 years, testifies of how All Peoples Christian Center has impacted and been indispensable for the people of South Central Los Angeles. As a staff, I contribute to the day to day operation of the organization, and as a volunteer in the after school program, I give back to the community in which I work. Long live APCC!!!
How I found out about All Peoples Community Center was by my sister Gladys. She came here for the Central High school. Then I came here because I was missing credits for High School so then I began to attend All Peoples Community Center ever since 2009. Then I got a temporary job here twice which I loved so much. Now I'm just volunteering here all the time. To me it's just like a second home.
I remember hearing about All Peoples in my teens ( the 50's). It was amazing then, and continues to be so! I am presently a board member and am so proud of what I see in the people APCC serves. The classes AP offers are often not offered anywhere else in the area. The dedicated Staff goes above and beyond what they are asked to do. They deserve a much larger income for what they do. I thank God for Saundra Bryant's solid leadership! Congrats APCC on your upcoming 70th Anniversary!!
This is the first place I had ever volunteered at and I must admit I fell in love with this place. Love the fact that this place has so many services to help out the community. The name All Peoples says it all! the doors are open for any one and every one in the community. They provide many free good services for people living in South Central LA!!!
I have been here for two years and the staff make me feel like i am part of the family. Everybody was ready to welcome me with open arms. It has also enhanced my knowledge and i am always eager to come and volunteer here everyday. i love it here!!!!!!!
It has been a pleasure being part of the All Peoples family for the past 23 years. I love being part of what All Peoples has instilled in me and most of all I love the RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) volunteers who commit day after day "rain or shine" to help others in need!
As a child of a struggling single mother of Two, All Peoples Christian Center was my Sanctuary a place where I had wonderful concerned mentors to shape my morals and self worth growing up as an adolescent with no father figure at home and a very busy mother who was too busy working to put food on the table to hear my problems at school with no education to help me with my homework. All peoples is a place that plays a crucial role in the community, in the lives of young children who really have nowhere else to turn to for mentorship and guidance. For those of you thinking where your money coul go to use.. Here is your answer!!! This center I have witnessed helped thousands of families through their caring mentors, wonderful programs. Special thanks to Sandy, Damion, Norma and & Norma II (lol) and all others involved with the program. I could truly state these people made a huge impact in my life and is reflectant upon my character and the caring respectable human being that I am today.
I'm impressed with the clergy at All Peoples. She is so approachable, helpful, and funny. Quite a smart woman who is full of good, old fashioned common sense. Hats off to APCC!!!!!
APCC is an organization committed to serving the community and bringing change. The heritage of the organization's values are echoed through the staff, leaders and members' enthusiasm and persistance. I have been fortunate to be involved with this cause and the dedicated people that make it all happen.
All of my children, nephews, nieces and now granddaughter have been part of All Peoples Center every summer and during the school year in the GREAT after-school program since 1997! GREAT PLACE TO BE A PART OF IN SOUTH LA!
I have been and still am affiliated with the AP Ctr for the past 50+ Yrs as a volunteer. I served as President of the AP Board some years ago, and currently serve as President of RSVP. The services that are provided serve the Community in a phenomenal manner. The Executive Director Saundra Bryant sets the bar very high in modeling behaviour that encourages the staff to do the same. Professionalism and caring are demonstrated on a daliy basis to all those who are fortunate enough to share in this wonderful experience. I submit that if there were more organizations on par with AP this world would be a much better place. The Center seems to get stronger and more proficient with each passing year.
My family moved into the neighborhood when I was a preteen in the early 1960's. For me it was a scary time. I started coming to All Peoples at the age of 12 and it was the best thing ever to happen. I joined other girls in the after school program. Even during the 1965 riots we were taken out of town to Yosemite Camp Grounds to get away from the dangers in the community. After I was married and had children of my own, there was All Peoples when I was in need. Both of my sons attended the day care facilities and they also went to Camp Joe Ide and still remember their experience of going to camp for a "whole week". I'm very glad I had All Peoples in my life and I pray It will be here for others too.
I have been involved in many charitable endeavors throughout my adulthood, both religious and secular, but this is the most comprehensive community directed charity that I have had the pleasure to serve. It has served the needs for food, education, health and daycare in South Los Angeles for 70 years and It is guided by a board consisting of the top professionals from many modalities, here in the LA area, continually seeking to improve and expand its outreach as a Christian charity for "All Peoples."
I am a graduate of Central High School, one of the many services offered at APCC, and the support and encouragement I received was far and beyond. Students are not only expected to do their best but to also participate in the many programs offered by the center. I love this place.
Though the years, All Peoples doors have always been open to me. I will always appreciate the willingness to let anyone come and use there facilities. We need to do our best to protect agencies like All Peoples who truly care about people.
As the manager at Loch Leven I had the opportunity to witness the All People's Staff and kids during their annual summer camp experience last year. This is a remarkable program with a dedicated and knowledgeable staff. It was obvious right away this was a professional and organized group. Throughout the week, I enjoyed witnessing the interaction between staff and campers. Everyone was kept safe, my number one priority, but the intentionality of the program went much deeper. Good times while promoting positive development. I can only imagine what an awesome program it must be on a day to day basis at the Center!
