This nonprofit works to not only provide children with the necessities to survive and thrive but to educate the adults in their life. AOC facilitates a sponsorship program in Ethiopia that provides a child with food, school uniform, school books and supplies, and medical supplies. The caregivers of these children participate in an educational program on how to care for themselves and their children and be active members of society. I am proud to sponsor a child as well as participate as a board member/volunteer.
Not only am I a volunteer with this organization, I also have had the wonderful experience of sponsoring a child through this non profit.
I love the way this non profit works together to provide these children with the oppertunity of going to school , to make sure that they have clothing, and food and shelter.
