AMU is by far the best community organization I have to say hands down. I have been praising their work for the community from afar. They are out there doing huge things especially in our Polynesian community. Not only in the Bay Area, they also reach out to families in other cities in Cali. And for the first time this year, they came to The Lone Star State of Texas to extend their first blessing. Christine and Mama Sil came out to bless a wonderful family for the Cancer Awareness program. It was a shock to hear when she reached out and I knew Cre actually follows through so, it was an eye opener. I just started into a radio station for poly folks out here and it was such a cool time to interview Cre n Sil even through the difficult technical issues. Lol We got through it and of course we had a blast. When we met with the family, I stayed silent and watched these two in action. The passion to pursue this blessing was beyond me. I couldn't stop crying. My heart has never experienced this. Growing up, my family was always the receiver from people like AMU so being on this side along with AMU really gave me a different perspective in this service. I LOVED EVERY MOMENT OF IT. I THANK YOU AMU for doing the best work out here. Servicing and doing what GOD said for us to do. We will always welcome JT and AMU's vision here in Texas. I have plans to keep this vision of JT going and honor him and AMU because like I said...they are the best community organization I know that will come out of state and still bless. I love you guys. Keep up with the vision. Y'all are amazing. Alofa Atu!

My kids have participated in multiple AMU programs such as Tahitian drumming class, golf and even robotics. I can honestly say my children would’ve never been exposed to these things if AMU didn’t reach out.

All My USO’s is an amazing non-profit organization. All the events that they hosted has brought so many families together. Seeing the impact, especially in these times, where entertainment and conversations are virtual. I’m glad to see and know that. All My USO’s are about the people and they’ve proven that to me in my experience. Their annual family barbecue was a great experience for me and I’m pretty sure other folks will say the same. So many services provided to the community that was literally free. All My USOs has been a blessing to me and my family and many more families!!! Thank You AMU!!!!!!

My name is Keresoma Laa and I've been involved with the All My Uso's organization since it started in 2015. I believe in the Vision of the Organization as well it's Mission Statement. Under the Leadership of Christine Maui'a she has made decisions consulting with the AMU Board Members.

Christine and her staff meticulously plan's out each year's event with the community and youth in mind very intentional and methodical.

As an active Board Member I honestly believe that Christine is making her husband Taupolo Maui'a Jr III very proud.

AMU began as a light to the Samoan community, and now has become a beacon to the Bay Area and beyond. AMU Annual Family Day BBQ of 2024 reflects the hard work of so many talented and selfless people from all walks of life – and all united for the same cause - providing hope, health, and healing to all and building our community. Being a quiet attendee for many years, it has been endearing to see the growth of this nonprofit and the lengths of which it goes to be inclusive and multi-dimensional. The Toddler Zone and Piefest S.T.E.M was a favorite for my 5-year-old and I was comforted to know she was in a safe area for her size; it was also welcoming to see a place for children on the spectrum that is in tune with their specific needs and sensory. I was thankful for the Registration due to the fact I was late to the Picnic, but yet, my daughter was still able to have her backpack and Book Box (a family favorite from last year). The Resource Zone this year was vast and impressive, and the fact AMU was able to gather so many resources under one event for US – made me wish we had more time to experience each table/booth. The vast information that many of us aren’t even aware is at our disposal is heartbreaking, and I am humbly grateful that AMU has brought it within our grasp. I look forward to next year and hope that I have enough time and energy to visit each resource available. Thank you AMU for another phenomenal Family Day, and look forward to bringing my children for years to come.

Celebrate our culture, keep our culture alive, congregate and share space in a positive large group setting. The fact that they keep everything free keeps the event a true attraction for the underserved Pacific Islander community. We don’t have any other gathering like this all year.

All My Uso's is all about community and caring. They throw a yearly FREE community event including free food, free backpacks, free haircuts for the kids, free school supplies, free entertainment, and free activities for the kids. They put together back pack drives giving away free books, backpacks, food, t-shirts, Covid PPE supplies, and Covid testing/vaccinations. They plan 2 to 3 blood drives per year, saving lives. They raise money and donate to families battling cancer. They recently did a Holiday basket giveaway for widows. Their heart for the people should be commended and they should be recognized. They are doing what others won't do. Great job All My Uso's. Rest in Love to founder Jaytee Mauia. I also enjoyed the fact that the vendors we're diverse and provided a lot of resources for our community . Everything was catered to the community from providing backpacks for children, returning to school, and also haircuts that were provided for free. Although our Pacific islander community is small in numbers, we carry strong, cultural values . Thank you All My Usos and great job.

From the first AMU backpack bbq, I have wanted to help volunteer. This was the first year I was able to help volunteer at the backpack bbq. It was truly an honor to be able to be part of this event. At the bbq, free backpacks filled with supplies, books for reading, free haircuts, free food for the everyone came all together for the purpose of serving the community. Seeing all the different vendors, volunteers and community leaders all come together for the sake of the kids and community. There is a real sense of serving and seeing all the smiles on the faces of the kids and families that came just brought real joy to me. AMU does so much for our community. Community is not just for the Polynesian community but for ALL community. AMU helps and brings the community together for so many different things from events for the kids, blood drives, and family functions. AMU does all these things without wanting anything in return. All My Uso’s aka AMU is an amazing organization!! Founded in 2015 by Beloved Jaytee Mauia (RIP). This organization has grown and continues to flourish!! What once was just a family bbq has turned into THE FAMILY EVENT OF THE YEAR.

The annual AMU BBQ is a family day for the kids right before the school year kicks off. Families come out from all over the Bay Area to enjoy a fun day in the park. EVERYTHING IS FREE! yes you read that right! EVERYTHING IS FREE! This event provides FREE food, drinks, desserts, haircuts for boys & girls, carnival games for the kids, educational activities, cultural presentations, face painting, backpacks, books and more!! This past year they even gave out At Home Covid Test kits. All Free!!

Every year in October AMU fundraises for those battling Cancer. 100% of this fundraiser goes to the cause. AMU visits families that are going through the hardships of battling Cancer. A small token of appreciation is given to these families from this fundraiser to be a blessing! They give the families: money, gift baskets, flowers, toys for kids, or whatever it is they can do to help.

Every year AMU hosts Blood Drives to help motivate Polynesian people to go out and donate blood. It is very uncommon for our people to donate blood BUT there are many benefits to donating that people do not know. Did you know that Giving blood can reveal potential health problems??? Did you know that just 1 person giving blood can save up to 3 lives?!!!

AMU partners with organizations all over San Francisco to help make a difference in our community. May God BLESS this organization ten fold!! These guys are putting work into the community and every year it shows. The proof is in the pudding yall better ask somebody!!!

All My Usos has been such an amazing resource for our community here in the San Francisco Bay Area. Serving the needs of our people on a both small & large scales. They show up when there is a need and they lend a hand any way they can. They collaborate with others to serve the best way possible and they support others who are also doing community work. Two of my favorite projects that AMU hosts are 1. Supporting families who are battling cancer & 2. Supporting widows with love gifts. Both of these efforts always inspire me to love on folks in my own circle that are faced with some the same storms. Thank you AMU for being the hands & feet needed in the community. We love ya'll & hope that AMU will be around for many many years to come.

AMU is an organization that supports the community. A group of volunteers from the communities they serve and giving back to make it a better place for others after them. Every event is free for low-income families but not limited to. We work hard to get community resources and highly depend on donors, volunteers and other community leaders to make this work. Families come in as a visitor or client but end up giving back, serving the people and doing what they can to pay it forward for another family in need. JT (RIP Founder) & Christine

I showed up at one of AMU’S BBQ, as a visitor and an acquaintance of the Founder, the Late JT Mauia and his wife, Christine.
I think it was their 2nd annual BBQ. This was a FREE BBQ for the Community! Everything was FREE, free food, free water, soda and juices! Free face painting, free haircuts, free Backpacks with school supplies! Free entertainment, free music! There were games , jumper’s for the kids, arts and crafts booths! It was FREE to the community and to the Public. You did not need to show proof of residency, you did not have to give your name or address, you were not asked to “join” anything, you were not handed any brochures. This was truly a BBQ for the people given by local people who care for their communities! The AMU BBQ was billed as Come as you are, come and enjoy good food and good company! No stress and always drama free. AMU board members donated all the meats , ribs, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs. Family and friends were asked to bring a side dish and a case of water.
As I mentioned before, I came as an acquaintance of JT and Christine! At the end, I became much more than an acquaintance, I became a good friend!
I brought my side dish and case of water and left as a committed volunteer for AMU’s backpack giveaways! I’ve been volunteering now for several years. It warms my soul to know I am able to contribute in my small way to help AMU deliver on their VISION of uniting their communities regardless of race, color or religion. AMU board members are comprised of Polynesians and are about raising awareness not just for Polynesians but for ALL people in need.
2020 was the first year AMU did not have their Annual BBQ because of COVID. However, COVID did not deter AMU! We had a Drive BY to pick up your school backpacks loaded with school supplies, without getting out of your car! AMU had food giveaways, free T Shirts, free books and even offered free COVID testing and eventually AMU offered Blood Drives if you wanted to donate blood!
There are a lot of volunteers who wholeheartedly love what they do, there is a lot of behind the scenes work that has to be done for an event like this to happen, and it’s all because of the AMU Boardmembers who work on the daily. A special thank you to Christine Mauia, who works tirelessly in honor of her Late husband, JT Mauia.
He had a Vision, and that’s how AMU came to be. Thank You, Adele Seau

My husband suffered a bad seizure that put him out of woke for a minute and I was very greatly for AMUs help during a difficult time . Don’t be shy , blessings come back around . Thank You AMU❤️

All My USO's the most giving non profit organization. In memory of Brother JT Mauia his vision... his loving wife Christine and brothers continue to bring to not only the San Francisco community but worldwide. Health Awareness..Blooddrives..Back to school backpacks and supplies..community BBQ and participations with other community groups just to name a few. It never stops. They strive to make our world a better place. We appreciate all you do.

I’m of Polynesian descent, and I’m so proud of AMU for reaching out to Polynesian communities with support and awareness in the many avenues of life. The dedication of AMU is astounding!! School supplies, backpacks and other school essentials, food drives, dinners, blood drives & educational information to those unaware what’s available to them. Supporting widowed spouses with love, comfort & holiday baskets to let them know “They care”. In my days growing up, this was not available to us, so we missed out on a lot of educational opportunities. AMU is family! who will always be there when needed. Countless times I’ve cried at their superior achievements with the support and care given to Polynesian communities. I will always support AMU.
