I met AFLOW at Petco while they were doing an event and they were super nice and made it easy if I was interested in filling out an adoption form.
I fell in love with one of their little black kittens so I filled out a form, which only takes a few minutes, and they kept in contact with me via text throughout the approval and up until it was time to pick her up.
So happy with their support and care for there animals.

I have know Sue from All for the Love of Whiskers now for close to 7 years. She is one of the most caring individuals I have met and would do anything she can to help any animal. I adopted our Berlioz from her and he rules the roost at our house and my 3 big dogs love him to pieces. He is the perfect cat and she paired him with us as a kitten. All the volunteers for AFTLOW put so much time and devotion into helping its amazing. I always recommend them when someone asks about getting a cat. I know I focus on the word cat as they have a lot of them but if your looking for any animal there is a chance they have what you are looking for, birds, ferrets, etc. Please support them in their endeavors.

We adopted these two babies July 2, 2023 from aftlow. We had the pleasure of dealing with Bernadette. She is a kind professional who I bonded with immediately and became friends with. We still keep in touch. Aftlow has the most wonderful cats and kittens available for adoption. They put the best interests of the kitties first and foremost. Our experience was easy and simple! I can’t wait to adopt more kitties from aftlow, but right now our home and hearts are full! Please adopt a cat or kittens from aftlow. You will not be disappointed!!!

There’s nobody better than this group of volunteers, I adopted my two babies a little over a year ago. They’re so well socialized and so healthy, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Aftlow took care of all of their shots, vet visits and even had them spayed/neutered for a minimal donation. These guys are amazing ❤️

I researched and followed this rescue on Facebook. I adopted my cat, who we named Chelsea in June 2024. However, I was going out of state and not able to take her home yet. Bernadette offered to keep her until I returned. The communication with Bernadette was excellent and effortless. She is truly wonderful to work with. We brought Chelsea home and are so glad we did. This rescue does FOUR dewormings for every cat before adoption. That is unheard of anywhere else and just one of the many reasons we are looking to adopt another kitten from them.

I adopted 2 cats Kiki and Bobo from AFTLOW. This organization does a wonderful job raising kittens, getting them acclimated to people, vacuum cleaners and other felines. Everything that needed to be done as far as neutering and vaccinations was correctly done. I couldn't have been more pleased with the care and support Susan and the AFTLOW staff showed. (I now regret I had not adopted their sister as well.)
AFTLOW even directed me to an excellent vet.
I have gladly contributed to AFTLOW especially when one cat "Champ" needed extensive surgery.
A great organization.

This rescue runs totally via volunteers and accomplishes it's mission each and every day. Outstanding care for any/all animals that need both basic and urgent care met. The goal is always to bring the animals to good health and find them forever homes. It amazes me how hard the founder and the few volunteers work to reach these goals.

Adopted a kitten from AFTLOW. This is the best rescue organization, run by people who are devoted to helping animals. They have helpful committed volunteers and fosters who ensure their animals are placed in good homes and in good health.

They bring those sick or injured pets back to Hope and get them well again; sometimes this costs THOUSANDS of dollars!! They have provided the absolute best veterinary care to these pets before they were available for adoption, so no, the adoption fee is not going to be $25. Your adoption fees go to fund other animals needs in the rescue who are all placed in loving caring foster homes until they are adopted to a forever home.
Our kitten Boo-berry was found when he was 2 days old. His mom was hit and killed by a car and the babies were alone under a porch on a cold and snow day. He was taken in by AFTLOW’s. All of them were in rough health, but Sue brought them in, bottle fed and restored them to a healthy state which included bottle feeding every 2 hours and found loving homes for them. He has been our loving baby, who loves to snuggle and give tons of kisses. We have 4 dogs and they all love him. He now thinks he is part dog and always part of the pack. ❤️

The job of an animal rescuer is demanding and exhausting, but ultimately so rewarding and important. They educate you on how to care for your baby and are always there if you have questions or problems when you bring them home.

I 100% recommend adopting a animal from AFTLOW’s, you will be very happy with them and your fur-baby.

I started with this wonderful not for profit as a volunteer helping out with adoptions also by giving donations. Then I saw a litter of kittens born to a cat that was rescued from a bad situation and fell in love with a little orange kitten. A week later another rescued cat gave birth and a little Calico touched my heart strings. It was hard waiting the 11 weeks for them to be mine, but the time went fast as I watched the fosters post pictures and videos as they grew. Then they were ours!! A few months later, we adopted a 6 month old that was lonely and sad after all his siblings were adopted. We now have 3 of the most wonderful cats who give us nothing but love and laughter each day. I can't thank Sue and all the fosters and volunteers enough for their dedication to rescuing and spaying and neutering so many animals each month.

Some years ago I inherited a feral colony of barn cats from my neighbor, who could no longer afford to feed them. He had never had any of them vaccinated or neutered, and there were a lot of cats and kittens. It was a daunting task, but little by little I got it all done. Kittens tamed and adopted (or I kept lol) and the adults back in their barn but no longer reproducing.
Fast forward two years, and I had a full house of cats and dogs to care for. It seemed that every penny I earned went to animal care. One day I was feeding the remaining barn cats and noticed a small black cat way back in the bushes observing. She was obviously hungry, but nervous about the other cats. I started putting a separate bowl of food closer to her bush, and within a few days she was coming closer. She was so friendly, obviously she had been dumped on my property. Because people knew I have cats, so why not give me their unwanted pets? Ugh.
Anyway, I was able to get her on my lap, so I popped her in a carrier and took her to the vet to be tested, planning to bring her indoors if she was healthy. Vet said good news, bad news. Good news that she was negative for all the nasty diseases, bad news that she was nursing kittens. I had to put her back outdoors so she could care for her 4 babies.
Soon she brought her babies to meet me, and I got them all indoors. Now I had 5 additional cats that I was responsible for. I was truly at my wits end.
I met Sue from All for the Love of Whiskers through a mutual friend, and she was just amazing. She vaccinated all of the babies, and when they were old enough, found them great homes.
Over the years more pregnant cats dumped on my property, and each time Sue stepped up to help me with them. Low cost spay/neuter clinics make it possible for anyone to get their pets neutered.

This fabulous animal rescue creates miracles every day. Sue and her dedicated volunteers
save many, many animals each year, depending on donations to survive.

I can't say enough good things about All for the Love of Whiskers.

The photo is my beautiful Domino. She is one of the former feral barn cats that I kept. She is now a very happy and healthy indoor cat.

I adopted our boy, Toronto from AFTLOW rescue. Amazing women that run and foster cats and some dogs. Had the pleasure of meeting 2 women from here at my job and they showed me pictures of this sweet, energetic pitty and lab mix pup. I fell in love. Completed all necessary paperwork and other protocols and before I knew it, Toronto was a member of our family. Our Charcoal lab enjoys his little brother and our house will never be the same. As the name of the rescue implies, ALL FOR THE LOVE OF WHISKERS❤️❤️ Thank you ladies for all you do and continue to do to give these babies a new lease on life.

I found an injured 2-3 week old kitten at my job and turned to AFTLOW for help. They immediately went into action to coordinate a way to help me help this little baby. The next day they took her in and and even though all the vets couldn’t figure out why she couldn’t walk and said it was grim, after a few weeks, this little baby pulled through to be okay. AFTLOW helped me help this little baby and once she was adoptable, I not only bright her home, I brought home the little boy kitty who I am sure helped her recover. AFTLOW didn’t give up and I am so grateful to have been able to add two wonderful little babies to the household.

Several years ago I had a house full of cats and dogs, and also an outdoor feral colony, that I was struggling to care for with little income.
One day someone dumped a lovely female cat on my property. I got her to the vet to have her tested for all the nasty diseases. Good news/bad news, all of her tests were negative, but she was nursing babies.
I had no resources to vaccinate 4 kittens, and then to have them all neutered.
I was at my wits end.
Thankfully. someone referred me to AFTLOW. They did not hesitate to offer help, get them all neutered, and then to find great homes for the babies.
I was so grateful for the assistance I was given.
This is a relatively small animal rescue, run by one amazing woman who can never look away from an animal in need.
She is assisted by a wonderful group of volunteers from the community.
Together, they save many animals each year.
I will be forever thankful for AFTLOW and the help I was given.

I have rescued every fur baby we have adopted. Currently our family has three dogs. Looking to add a cat to our family, we went to Petco to see the ones up for adoption there. After speaking to someone from All For The Love Of Whiskers (Sue) we knew this was the organization we wanted to adopt from. Not only did she get to know us she also knew just the kitten to match us with. Long story short, she was right on and we now have the perfect cat in our family. Sue, all her volunteers and Forster families are in my opinion heroes. Their devotion to animals both rescue and aiding the public with vaccines, spaying and/or neutering is not only amazing, but done with the most compassion I have ever seen in a rescue. The time of day nor weather will stop them from helping any animal in need. The long hours of caring for these neglected, abused and thrown away babies is unimaginable. But they never stop caring and helping. But most of all they never give up hope for them... no matter what it takes. I would recommend anyone looking for a rescue animal to adopt here. And the caring doesn’t stop after the adoption, this is truly a rescue that cares!! These pictures show when my baby was rescued and what he looked like today. If it wasn’t for AFTLOW.... he never would have made it!! Thank you Sue and volunteers. ❤️

Over the years, my family with fur has grown. We’ve rescued a few cats and dogs, as well as kept a few as our fur family. My neighborhood is filled with stray cats, as well as cats that “have a home”; however, they are struggling out in the weather season-round, starving, unvaccinated, infested with both fleas and worms, as well as unfixed. A few years ago, we began to catch local cats and kittens that were wondering around is horrible shape, hiding under homes or sheds. With limited resources of our own, we sought out help and met All For The Love Of Whiskers. AFTLOW helped us with trapping, spaying/neutering, vaccinating, and finding furever homes for the local strays. The rescue also assisted us with low-cost spaying and neutering for our pets, as well as keeping up-to-date with affordable vaccinations. Over the years, this rescue has provided so much time, resources and energy into catching these kitties during snow, rain and extremely hot days. This rescue is local, helpful and compassionate. The devotion the team of AFTLOW displays, simply speaks for themselves. They are a team full of passionate animals lovers and advocates. Thank you so much All For The Love Of Whiskers for doing so much for the animals within our community.
