Mission: To promote the cultivation and enjoyment of contemporary music in the Greater Pittsburgh area, through the production of concerts and events regularly featuring compositions by emergent regional composers, including composer members and guest composers; educational events for beginning composers and/or other contemporary music groups and organizations; outreach events to bring contemporary music to different Pittsburgh neighborhoods and communities; exchange events and collaborations that take Pittsburgh music to other geographical areas; and professional recordings of compositions selected from its events.
