Mission: Aldea Children and Family Services heals children struggling with abuse, neglect, and emotional problems, and helps developmentally disabled adults achieve and maintain their independence.
Programs: Outpatient counseling services - napa and solano countiesaldea's outpatient counseling program helps children and families improve their mental well-being and strengthen their relationships. The program provides a wide range of therapeutic and psychiatric services at its outpatient clinics, in homes, and at schools and community-based organizations. In fy 2016-17, aldea provided outpatient counseling services for 963 children and their families
treatment foster care and adoption services - napa, solano, contra costa, alameda and san francisco countiesaldea treatment foster care and adoption services gives children the opportunity to thrive in safe, stable, permanent homes by providing emergency placement, treatment and intensive treatment foster care and adoption services - including placement, case management, therapy and support - for children removed from their birth families due to abuse, neglect or emotional disturbance. Aldea also recruits, certifies, trains and supports foster and prospective adoptive parents. In fy 2016-17, aldea provided treatment foster care and adoption services for 395 youth.
supported living services - napa, solano and sonoma countiesaldea supported living services empowers adults with developmental disabilities to live independently in their own homes and to participate in the community. The program offers case management, personal assistance with life skills and employment, support groups, and recreational activities. In fy 2016-17, 42 individuals participated in supported living services.
other services napa and solano counties:aldea offers numerous other services that enable people to improve their mental health and become engaged in the community. Other programs provided in include: short-term school-based therapy and treatment for youth, home-based mental health services for families, transitional housing for former foster care children, support for families with children who have severe mental health needs, mental health first aid (mhfa) training, drug and alcohol treatment and prevention, and support for youth at risk of delinquency.
