I do not know how I would have got where I am today without this program. I had put off finishing school for 18 years and thought it would take me for ever to finally finish. I called and set up an appointment for an assessment and within weeks I was enrolled in classes so that I could get my GED. Within 3 weeks, they got me ready for my test and I passed with flying colors. Now I am getting ready to graduate with my certificate in Medical Assisting. This program is an absolute blessing! And the teachers and staff will forever hold a very special place in my heart.

Nonprofit Overview
Mission: ABQ-GED's mission is to provide student-focused adult education and GED preparation in the underrepresented communities where our students live.
Results: Fiscal year 2011-2012 saw our student enrollment rise to 217 students, of which 66 graduated. We currently have 95 students enrolled and 44 students are waiting for a class slot.
Target demographics: At-risk youth and/or underrepresented adults
