Target demographics: We provide fresh hot meals 7 days a week to elderly and homebound citizens of Alameda who are unable to shop and/or cook for themselves.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 175 individuals

Geographic areas served: Alameda, CA

Programs: provide hot meals to elderly & disabled clients in the city of alameda. Over 175 clients were served in the year. Program is 100% funded by payments from clients on a sliding scale and contributions from throughout the community

As a volunteer it is such a great pleasure delivering to Seniors. It has spurred me to look into more ways to visit with them. Alameda Meals On Wheels has such an enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated group of people, they add to my pleasure in serving the community.

This group has helped our community in so many ways, and the more I see of them, the more impessed I become. Their staff works tirelessly in order to bring food to the community and has done an amazing job with their limited budget.
