ACAC is a diverse organization that works hard to improve the lives of all the citizens in Alamance County and the surrounding area. They work with very limited resources to do great things. They work hard to reach out to the community and to enable artists to do the same thing.

I have been impressed with the hard-working director and staff and the positive ways they work with the board, committee members, and the community. ACAC strives to reach out to the entire county--no easy task in a community that has more sports fans than arts fans.

The Alamance County Arts Council (ACAC) enhances life in Alamance County in numerous ways; from an economic standpoint, a cultural standpoint, and an educational standpoint. As a real estate professional trying to get people to relocate to the area, I routinely give people information about how much better and well-rounded our community is because of the member groups ACAC funds. ACAC provides exposure to the arts to many people who normally would never know about art, music, sculpture and drama. Nearly everyone in Alamance County is touched by the organization in one way or another. I have personally benefitted from the Alamance County Arts Council by a better quailty of life, exposure to great artists and their work and by the people involved in the organization.
