Mission: A poverty-free society built on the principles of compassion and equality. To alleviate poverty and empower socially and economically marginalized families through interest-free micro-finance and by harnessing entrepreneurial potential, capacity building, and social guidance.
Results: Akhuwat Mircofinance’s total interest-free mirco-loan disbursement has now reached to USD 600 Million by serving more than 2.8 million underprivileged families. From a modest philanthropic experiment, the continued support from the civil society and our partners has allowed Akhuwat to expand into a network of 795 branches in over 350 cities and towns across the country - Akhuwat's loan recovery rate is above 99.96%.
