I have worked in the AWFF team back in 2017, and I still maintain relationships with team members there because the organization is filled with passionate, hardworking, and genuinely good people. AWFF really walks their talk on raising awareness and expanding incredibly well-made and under-scoped films in Asia. Especially now that Asian films are matching, if not, even going beyond the quality of Western films, AWFF will continue to grow and expand. And they certainly should be, especially with the people who share the passion to envision the success of these films and sharing various and unique culture of the East.
I’ve always been a fan of movies! What I love about that word, is that it has become so international. The Asian Film Festival is a celebration of the art of film bringing us the most most ingenious films from that region! I can’t wait for next year’s festival so that I can immerse myself in that magnificent culture!
