Reena's Place literally saved my life! I arrived completely broken after dropping out of high school, being kicked out of various schools, suicidal, addicted to alcohol, drugs, and more. Reena took me in like a child! Saw beyond the 'issues' I finally had come to a place that accepted me, loved me,a place where I belonged, just because I existed. Reenas place showed me what healthy boundries look like, today a number of years since living there, I still go back to visit, and reminisce fondly of the days that someone gave me a hot meal, a hug, a bed, and straight up love and acceptance when I couldn't love myself and had a hard to time dealing with all the complex emotions of growing up and dealing with spiritual and emotional difficulties. A place I belonged, a place that I learned to care for myself, others, and for my home (I learned how to do sponja /Israeli floor cleaning there!) This place has saved many many lives, including my own and of many friends who have since become family. And 'those issues' I arrived with are no longer issues and have now become my strengths and my superpowers that make me into being a stronger and more resilient young woman. Thanks to Reena and her staff that have showed me the way to live a healthy, Jewish, and fulfilling life. This place has become my family, my home. And plus she makes an amazing chicken soup for Shabbat meals that is more healing than any therapy ever you literally can taste the love she puts into this home and 'her girls'. ❤️
Renas place provided me a safe and supportive place to be at a time I was lost. It helped me take responsibility and then later be able to rent a place of my own. It was so great to know Rena was always there to help even after I moved out.
I have known about this home for over ten years and have the seen the girls who have come and “graduated” wow ! What a home filled with love and support and all you need to grown into the person you want to be. Anyone k owe that this can happen to anyone child, and to have a home liek this is a gift from hashem.
Aishel is an amazing organization that has changed so many lives. I personally have met some of the lives that Aisel has impacted and there are no words for the unbelievable things that Aishel does for their girls! Truly an outstanding organization!!
Since its inception, I've been privileged to witness the transformations that occur as a result of this truly exceptional place that girls call home. I'm awed by the selflessness and warmth of the staff, I'm amazed at the continued progress of the girls who pass and passed through and most of all I'm humbled by their ability to keep up their great work with even more dedication and zealousness after all these years. Hey, I currently live in this apartment which has been always a safe space and environment where I can grow and build my life. Coming as a young girl with no support or any idea how to live a healthy stable life I could say my life has changed for so much better thanks to reena's house I can now be responsible for my life. I have a stable background so I can move forward I have good people helping me on this journy and I'm lucky to be here. I wish for every girl who needs a place to stay to come here and get the help she need and it's so much more than a roof over your head or a bed to sleep in. This place is here for u to actually build yourself and your life I'm so thankful for being apart of this house i dont know where i would be by now if it wasn't for these good people!

Aishel changed my life forever. I'm married now with two kids and I'm still in touch with my friends from this time in my life. When I was 18, I was struggling spiritually and emotionally. My family couldn't help me. Aishel was there with non judgemental staff, love, warmth and friendship.
My experience was a life saver . The house saved me and changed my life. I had nowhere to go, and Aishel accepted me with a loving heart.
I came in with no trust in adults, no belief that anyone really sees me and cares about me. Aishel gave me a home and a family, a safe place to be in.
After moving in- my life has changed. Every day I knew I had a bed to sleep in, a place to shower, dinner to eat, people to speak to if I wanted. People looking after me and making sure I am ok. I had acceptance and love and people believing in me. It was my home for a few years. I learned in Aishel how to run my future home. To believe in others. To choose what’s good for me and keep myself in a healthy place. I would not have become who I am today without their support and help, they took me in at my lowest point and from there everything just got better. Thank you so much ♥️

I cannot express enough how incredible Yad Henna Sarah, a nonprofit home, is for girls who have faced unimaginable hardships. Their dedication to helping these young women rebuild their lives is nothing short of remarkable.

Since the birth of this amazing home I've watched as girls came in abused and broken-spirited with no idea where their next bite of food would come from or what they would do with themselves beyond the next 5 minutes. I've witnessed their emotional states so beaten that they find the relief initially too shocking for them to believe. I've seen countless girls rehabilitated through love, care, guidance and enduring patience as bit by bit they piece their lives back together and become functioning, even blossoming, contributing members of society. From the way it's logistics are run from the top, down to the day to day trivialities and everything in between, this organization blows me away again and again. The amount of girls who have at some point called it "home" and how far reaching their achievements have gone is testament to it's phenomenal success. As I have been fortunate enough to have been present at multiple reunions of girls "graduated" coming together, I can honestly say the people involved literally save lives each and every day.
I have visited Rinas Place a few times during my trips to Israel and have always been amazed at the work they do and the professionalism and caring that they do it with. The girls that they help keep off the streets are housed in a beautiful well kept home, fed and given counseling and the help they need to be on their own and become productive members of society once again
Aishel is truly a world class organization. They are there for these girls when no one else is. They provide an amazing support system to help with any issues the girls may have and then provide a support system in which these girls can go on to lead successful and productive lives.
I have personally visited this home and have witnessed the transfomation these girls have made. They come off the streets , unhappy, unloved and feeling overwhelmed and unlucky in life. After going through the Aishel process and therapies, these girls are transformed into happy capable women who see life through a whole different lens.
How grateful we should be that this place is available to those who need it!!!

If only there could be a home such as Aishel in every city! Girls who are abused or who feel unsafe have a place they can call home that cares for them with shelter, food, love and professional help. If you visit, you will see girls who are relaxed and comfortable in their surroundings. Not for profit donations go directly to the great expenses of running the home. Reenas place saved my life! I was homeless in Israel at 18, everyone else had given up on me, I was lost and alone, never thought I'd ever make it through, I thought this was the end of my life, I am stuck in a deep dark rut that I will never climb out of. And then I moved to Reenas place. The love and care and guidance I received there was unparallel to anything I've ever witnessed anywhere else in the world. I learned to trust, I learned to live, I learned to accept myself for who I am and to use my inner strengths to move on in life. I learned that some people are messed up and crazy and give up on others but j learned that that's not the whole world. I was shown the light and I felt safe. I was given tools, to use as I ventured out into the big world. And I am still using them 5 years later as a healthy functioning adult. Thank you Reenas place for saving my soul!
