AIM’s work to solve the youth mental health crisis inspires me every day. With one in five young people directly impacted by mental health challenges, I cannot think of a more worthy cause.
Honored to serve on the board and work with many wonderful volunteers and staff. It has been good to see AIM's growth and impact over the years and look forward to continuing on our vision towards a world of mentally healthy youth.
AIM has been steadily growing over the past decade to become one of the premier youth mental health charities in the country. I am thoroughly impressed with the percentage of donations that go directly to funding research and their continued presence in communities around California. AIM not only focuses on funding research but holds art contests for the youth, walks/rallys at schools to destigmatize mental health/get the conversation going, and speakers series where anyone in the community can learn healthy ways to boost their own mental health. Overall, I am astounded with the breadth of AIMs mission and hope they continue their work as it is of the upmost importance.
AIM has been super educational and informative for me. Youth mental health is such an important cause!!
I found the Youth Mental Health First Aid to be a powerful tool to have in my belt to assist the youth I am in contact with everyday! I highly recommend this AIM offering to all adults/parents/teachers/youth professionals.
I recently attended the AIM Youth Speaker Series in Los Angeles and had the most incredible and inspirational day. I learned tools and strategies for common youth mental health challenges like anxiety, and had the opportunity to connect with my community in an engaging way. I love AIM’s mission and feel excited about its ability to shape the direction of youth mental health research, care, and awareness!
Love aim. They have been committed to youth mental health research for almost a decade now. They have developed an amazing top notch scientific advisory board, so I have always been confident of where every dollar goes.
AIM is an amazing organization funding real research and change for youths suffering from mental health disorders. Not only does it make a difference directly in the Monterey community, but through research and events it helps create solutions with much broader impact.
Great nonprofit with innovative programs that include and elevate the youth voice to help address issues in youth mental health.
There are multiple facets of AIM Youth Mental Health. Alongside the groundbreaking research, AIM provides Youth Mental Health First Aid trainings for anyone and everyone in the general public. I highly recommend this evidence-based certification, as it's an accessible, entry-level training that has been proven to lower the stigma surrounding mental health challenges.
Even before Covid 19, the growing number of our young people who struggle with their mental health had reached a crisis. Stresses brought on by the pandemic have only compounded the crisis. With an impressive track record, AIM is funding promising youth mental health research to identify solutions that make a difference in young people’s lives. AIM combines a strategic approach – assembling a world-class advisory board to guide investments, for example, and focusing on bridging the gap between cutting-edge research and clinical practice – with a lot of heart.
As children and young adults navigate an increasingly complex and nuanced world, we need to develop the tools only evidenced-based research can provide. AIM Youth Mental Health is leading the effort to amplify and fund this vitally important work. Their mission of not only funding but sharing and promoting the latest developments in the mental health of children, teens, and young adults is deeply impactful and appreciated. As the mother of two teen daughters each of whom has struggled with mental health issues, I appreciate their laser focus and commitment to helping our vulnerable young people.
AIM Youth Mental Health brings a unique scientific approach to addressing youth mental health. To be commended.
My experience with AIM has been as a supporter of the Founder Susan Stilwell... Over the past 7 years I have witnessed her tireless hours of dedication and passionate commitment to raising both awareness and funding for research for children, teens and young adults who suffer from Mental Health problems...Organization's like AIM are greatly needed to help young people get the support and treatment they need to understand and manage the personal issues that plague them... I want to encourage anyone who wants to support an extremely worth while cause to donate to AIM... I am moved an inspired by Susan and her staff, and am volunteering to assist them in their effort to help fund research for all the youth that seek guidance and help! Please look into AIM and give your support now!
Love the Ad Contest for Middle and High School students that AIM promotes. It starts the conversation about mental health in school. It also gives teachers an insight into their own students mental wellness.
AIM Youth Mental Health has established a team of best in class Scientific Advisors bringing forward insights in mental health solutions for kids. This is so important to fund, and I am so grateful that AIM and their supporters are making sure that critical studies can progress for the increasing youth that need mental help NOW. I love that they're investing in advancing technology driven interventions for kids and excited to see what promising solutions their researchers make possible.
Such a critical mission to support. AIM funds research that can applied in the real world to help kids struggling with their mental health. AIM also brings awareness to the need to invest in solutions. AIM has a stellar Scientific Advisory Board that makes decisions on research strategies. Their Scientific Symposium was very informative and featured world-renown doctors in the research space.
The AIM Ideas Lab is a groundbreaking program with the potential to impact 10,000 youth in Monterey and Santa Cruz Counties and improve their mental health. Local youth will be able to learn about youth mental health research, conduct their own scientific studies, and make recommendations to AIM's world-class Scientific Advisory Board. A true example of "Nothing About Us Without Us."
AIM's strategies for addressing the growing crisis in youth mental health are to be highly commended. AIM is mission focus, efficient, transparent, and impactful.
Watching AIM Youth Mental Health grow over the past 6 years has been incredible. It is an amazing non-profit that not only raises funds for mental health research, but also raises awareness. Prior to AIM, I had no idea it was such a major issue amongst youth in America. Now, thanks to their fundraisers and monthly newsletters, I am much more aware and can really see the impact the research they’ve funded has had. The founders and all of AIM’s team members are extremely dedicated to making a difference.
AIM Youth Mental Health is the premier mental health research funding non-profit. As one of very few mental health research funders in the United States, AIM is filling a much needed void in the space. Mental health is a growing epidemic and research is the key to finding the best early interventions, treatments, and solutions. I love receiving AIM's monthly newsletter that often includes very compelling impact stories from their funded research.
