Programs: For the summer of 2017 there were 2166 participants for in the craft department. Campers were able to create a variety of different crafts including tie-dye, friendship braclets, string art, duct tape crafts and shrinky dinks. Crafts are not only an excellent creative outlet they also teach the importance of following directions so as to have a successful end result.
waterfront activities are offered all summer long both at the pool and the stream. Pool activities include beginner to advanced swim, water games, and scuba diving. Swimmers must pass a swim test to use the diving boards and be in the deep end. At the stream campers learn how to canoe including the basic canoe strokes , saftery precautions and how to flip a canoe over. These activities are over seen by certified life guards.
outdoor recreation was one of the biggest activities this year with 3695 participants. This year a new disc golf course was added to camp. Other outdoor rec activites included the gaga pit, horizontal climbing wall, 4 square in the air, volley ball, basketball and various other team building games. Campers were physically active while learning good sportmanship and team building skills.
