I got to intern here in college. I fell in love with the people and the mission so much that after I graduated, I decided to volunteer with their teen pregnancy outreach, Mama Club. The heart and soul of this organization is the devoted people who pour so much of themselves into their missions—whether it is supporting birth mothers, adoptive families, or teen moms/dads, APO is never short on love and dedication.
I have volunteered for Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach on the Mama Club Childcare team for 3 years and I have loved every part of this ministry. This program does so much for its community and the families they serve. They pour into the women and mothers they work with and it’s such an amazing thing to see. Being apart of this organization is by far my favorite thing to talk about, as it’s given me purpose and an outlet to serve while in college.

I love Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach! I volunteer every Tuesday in Mama Club and I love getting to spend time with those babies. There are more moms in BCS than I knew that needed help. I think it's so amazing that they get to learn life and parenting skills and as a reward for that they "buy" things for their children. Volunteering at APO is the highlight of my week and the way BCS loves on these moms and babies through APO is amazing. APO definitely helped fill a need in BCS.
All the women at APO helped me in ways that is indescribable. I feel so seen and loved and understood by everyone at APO. My life since having my son has been rocky, but with the help from my friends at APO I have been able to get through this hard time. I love being able to see and hold and love my son still and have such a beautiful relationship with his family.
We cannot speak highly enough about our experience with APO. They have walked beside us through the adoption of our precious baby girl, showing genuine love, support, and unwavering faith every step of the way. Beyond their help for adoptive families like ours, they have an incredible commitment to the birth parents. Our baby’s birth mother shared that the organization ‘saved her’—helping her complete her education and supporting her as she parented her first child. They “believed in her when no one else would”. I volunteered with Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach's Mama Club many years ago and it was a special experience to work with teenage moms in our community, especially as someone who was a teenage mom myself. APO cares so deeply for everyone they meet. They do incredible and meaningful work in our community that changes lives and gives the tools needed to break cycles of abuse and neglect. Teaching young parents skills to be successful in parenthood and in life, helping with baby needs, working in the schools to educate young parents, and so much more. I have not been a volunteer of theirs recently, but Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach is the first nonprofit I recommend to everyone looking to help with giving time or donations because I know what a real difference they have made and continue to make in the lives of young parents and their babies.
APO is an amazing nonprofit organization that supports expecting mothers as they choose life! Whether they support them in choosing to parent or making an adoption plan, they always prioritize the wellbeing of the child! We partnered with them in adoption and they were incredible! They walked us through step by step and supported us throughout the whole process. They guided us through how we could best support birth mom and baby and provided an amazing support group for us as adoptive parents! Outside of adoption services, they provide excellent support for mothers who choose to parent!
APO is an amazing organization that surrounds single pregnant ladies under 26 with love, wisdom, guidance, and Christian mentoring as they form a positive safe community. The staff and volunteers pour selflessly into these ladies who are nervous about the difficulties of being a single mom. They give them life skills to help better their lives! It is an amazing organization always looking for new ways to help during these difficult times.

Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach is a nonprofit organization that provides a safe and loving environment for teen moms, birth mothers, and adoptive parents.
My time volunteering as a mentor for MAMA CLUB, a weekly program for teen mothers and fathers, was such an amazing experience. I enjoyed leading small groups with the young mothers by being able to provide encouragement , teaching them basic sign language for them to share with their children, and most importantly providing a listening ear. Ending the night with an enjoyable time with the mothers and their children. To see the mothers and their childs' growth over the following years makes me know the support they received was a true blessing.
For the birth mothers, the guidance they received from the APO staff brought feelings of joy to my heart. So much compassion was given to each. The staff consisted of amazing counselors who reassured them that they had options available, depending on their life circumstances.
To know parents and to see the journey they have gone through utilizing the APO adoption process was another example of pure joy!
I am excited to get back to volunteering for such an awesome organization soon.

I am a volunteer at APO. I am constantly amazed at the work they do there helping young people when they are faced with unplanned pregnancy. From counseling and classes to adoption options to providing a “boutique” where they can get things for their baby, APO treats everyone who comes through their doors with love and respect. It is truly an incredible program that I am proud to be a small part of!
Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach walked alongside of us throughout our entire adoption journey from the moment we made the decision, to the call saying a baby had been born, navigating the hospital experience until our adoption was finalized. We are so grateful for their support and helping us to bring a son into our home!
I was only 17 years old with no means or idea on how to raise a child. Aggieland Outreach talked with me about my options and walked me through the entire adoption process. It was a very overwhelming time in my life and with their help I was able to give my daughter the life I felt she deserved. If it hadn't of been for APO I have no idea where my life would have ended up, I am greatful everyday for their kind caring assistance in a very dark time for me.
I volunteer at APO Wednesdays and Fridays. I have the opportunity to help sort donations and package items for mothers in need. We’re doing a lot each week, but there’s always more to be done. The amount of diapers needed to be packaged for distribution to the mothers indicates how useful this is to our community. There’s plenty of work to do each week, and I love the privilege of helping these women and this nonprofit.
APO is a wonderful organization! They are truly able to support and meet the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of young pregnant women. They are able to help a mom consider all of her options and make the best plans for her baby and herself. Then, they continue to support the mom and baby after the birth. I have had the honor of volunteering at APO as part of a support group and have seen the good that they do in people's lives. As a supporter of single, parenting moms and a licensed Adoption Agency, they are able to promote the health and well-being of all the moms, babies, and families they serve. I highly recommend all of their services.
I know several families who have been greatly and joyfully impacted by the work of Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach. The time and commitment they give to adoptive families is a true testament of the love they have for each person they serve. From the initial meeting to the precious gift of adoption to the follow up they give to new families- it is all orchestrated by God and delivered through the committed team members of this amazing organization.
The compassion and support their team gives to young Moms who are choosing adoption for their baby or seeking to create a positive life for themselves and their baby is a sight to see. Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach gave me the opportunity to help young girls from my community. APO sponsored The Mama Club, a mentoring program for young teen moms and pregnant teens. This wonderful organization allowed me to be blessed by the young girls each week as I listened ti them, their stories , their fears and struggles. I was blessed by the opportunity to give back to them through listening, talking and sharing my testimony.
As a volunteer at APO, I get to see first hand the impact we have on the community around us and it is truly inspiring! I help babysit while APO staff feeds teen parents and helps support them by teaching them necessary life skills. Last semester I got to form a relationship with one of the babies in the nursery and seeing him go from not letting anyone hold him to a happy baby was so rewarding and fulfilling. I can also tell that the moms are so grateful and form such great relationships with the other moms and volunteers!

There are no words to describe APO. We adopted our son 2.5 years ago and they still are an active part of our lives! Anytime we need a listening ear or encouragement or our son's birth family needs counseling they are there instanteously. We researched dozens of agencies before deciding to go with APO. We chose them because of the commitment they make to the birth family and the ethics they stand by. We have experienced APO in several different situations/scenarios and everytime they put the child and birth family first. From 1am food runs waiting on a baby to arrive to 5am phone calls when an urgent situation presents itself they were by our side every step of the way and STILL are.
They helped us through one of the scariest and exciting times of our life! From the very beginning, they were fantastic and were so great at educating us on different scenarios.
Our adoption story with APO is a little unique because it was a huge surprise. I got a call while I was at work that basically said for us to come to the hospital and meet our son! We are so blessed to have had APO with us every step of the way.
APO is a collection of the greatest humans on earth. We decided to enter in to adoption in 2015 after we lost our youngest daughter shortly after birth in 2013. APO helped guide us through every step of our journey providing more than an education about a process, but through sharing of their mission and vision to see their hearts for helping young mom's and their unborn babies. APO is an open adoption agency that cares for these desperate mothers, educates future adopting families, and ministers to the hearts of everyone through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. APO is different than most, if not all other adoption agencies with their amazing care for the biological mother and the process of allowing them to choose the forever family for their child. They truly believe the best opportunity for reconciliation between the child and their biological mother is through an open adoption relationship. This idea was confusing at first to wrap our heads around this idea. Through APO's mandatory meetings we learned the invaluable importance and care that it provides for everyone. We are forever grateful for their care for many families in our lives that APO has served. I couldn't recommend their team highly enough. We are forever grateful for their care for our family and their faithfulness in serving.
Through APO, we were able to grow our family. We adopted our son and daughter through APO and wouldn't have been able to make it through the adoption journey without their guidance, love, and prayers. They have an amazing team who go above and beyond for their birth families and adoptive families. They are always available to answer any questions that we may have and also give great post-adoption advice and guidance. We are so thankful to have found such an amazing adoption agency and we love to share information about them to anyone that will listen.

We adopted our son almost two years ago through Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach. It was an amazing experience and we are so grateful for our son and all of the amazing people that we have met through APO. We have recently started our second adoption journey and look forward to working with APO as we wait for the day that we are matched with another birth mother.
We love the staff at Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach! They walked with us through our adoption journey from the beginning steps of exploring adoption to the finalization in the courthouse. They were there when we met our birth-mom and in the hospital hours before and after our precious baby was born. We always got the sense that they were for us - encouraging us and loving on us. Adoption can be scary, but it can also be a beautiful. APO helped make it a tremendously wonderful experience for us. If we were to adopt again, we would definitely do it again through APO!
I have always had adoption in my heart since I was a child. After I had several biological children, the call to adopt was stronger than it had ever been. I had known Kim for years and had seen the growth from an organization that loved on all pregnant ladies - regardless of their choices or background to a full fledged adoption agency that still nurtured those women - but also offered other hurting families to be paired with a birth-mom in an open adoption.
As an adoptive mom going through the process, I can say that APO did an outstanding job of communicating with me what the next steps were. The education about what the birth mom's were going through and what open adoption was all about was invaluable during those months.
When we got the call about our Mia it was unlike any other experience in my life. I had prayed for her, for her birth-mom, for her health, for many specific things and we hadn't heard a word about a birth mom choosing us. Ours was a really unique experience. The birth mom was not who chose us - it was Mia's aunt who suggested it to our precious birth mom. I think about that call often. It literally changed my entire life - in fact, my entire family's life. We were told there was a little girl who had been born not breathing, who needed a temporary home (because our birth mom was not ready to sign over her rights) and they wondered if we would consider it. I knew from the minute Don said "There's a beautiful little girl..." that Mia was the missing piece to our family. There are so many details that have displayed the hand of God (and more importantly) the love of God over adoption and our Mia. I don't suppose I could write it all out here if I tried. Over time, we have become dear friends with Mia's birth family - and Mia has had the opportunity to visit with her birth mom as she desires.
We talk openly about how God knew from before she was born that she would grow in her birth mom's belly, but be gifted to us as our beloved daughter. Our birth-mom's bravery and love is evident... to entrust Mia to our care and also to be brave enough to stay involved has been incredible to watch. Life-changing.
APO was and is such an incredible support for the adoptive families through the entire process - and more importantly, they support these incredible women who are facing some of the hardest decisions and times they will ever go through. I can't give enough "stars" for my rating of this incredible agency. What a gift it is to call them friends.
I can’t express enough how much APO means to me! I was that mom 15 years ago who was lost, pregnant and no clue what I was going to do. APO stepped up in ways that changed my life forever. They were always a phone call away and even helped me get back on my feet after signing the papers for my son to be with his new family❤️ Now I am blessed to be in a position to give back and I can’t help but thank APO for having a huge part in my journey!
APO walked through some of the greatest and hardest times with my wife and I with family building. They advised and guided us throughout all the steps, helped us with birth mom for both adoptions (same birth mom), and encouraged us on how to interact with birth mom and begin parenting. Financial model made adoption possible for our budget and financial capabilities, and the working with other parents in same process as us gave us a support group of like people. Amazing organization and people!
My husband and I adopted through APO, and it was finalized in court a little over a year ago. Ours was an identified adoption, meaning we knew our children before we sought adoption. The option was on the table to NOT go through an agency and to simply hire attorney's and go through court directly. Yet, we knew the importance of our home/social study to make sure we were the best fit for our girls, us receiving appropriate training and the on-going support we'd need, social & medical history reports of the girls' birth family, etc. Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach not only took on our case and provided all the systems and checks that go in to an adoption, but they handled our case very personally. Two years after placement and I still know I can call our case worker or the agency director for help with questions and to just check in. We LOVE APO and highly recommend them not only as an agency, but a ministry for teen moms.
We adopted our beautiful little girl through APO and are so thankful for all of their work. They always have the needs and best interest of the children as first in their minds. They really believe in what they are doing and pour their hearts into the lives of everyone who comes through the door.
APO was wonderful to work with!! They have huge hearts, and truly care about the children, birth parents, and adoptive parents. We live 3 hours away from College Station, but traveling there was well worth it. I would highly recommend APO to anyone who’s thinking about adopting, or to any birthparents who are thinking about doing an adoption plan.
We have been blessed with two wonderful children with the assistance of APO. They were amazing to work with and give so much love and support to adoptive and birth families alike. The assistance they provide to bring families together not only helped us become parents, it gave us an opportunity to make our children’s birth families part of our family as well.
APO was so important in the adoption of our son. It was an unusual circumstance, as he was 3 1/2 years old, and they had never done that before. Don took it upon himself to secure signatures, which was more important than we thought it would be. They are used by God to glorify God through these children's lives. APO has guided us through two adoptions and we highly recommend working with the agency. Each staff member is so kind and responsive and truly loves what they do. I volunteer for APO at their weekly "mama's club." Mama's club is a partnership between Young Life and APO that helps teen moms in the community by providing them a meal and then teaching them about GOD and how to be a mom using Young Life college students and mentor moms. I work in the nursery watching the kids of both the teen moms and mentor moms. The teen moms are also encouraged to bring the child's father or father-figure. The founder of APO is very bubbly and welcoming.
APO takes the time to not only counsel women through some of the most difficult decisions they face, but support them after and beyond those decisions. They work with intentionality and a genuine heart for people. Great organization!
I've been volunteering with APO for awhile now through their Mama Club and it has been one of the best experiences I've had. Everyone is there for one goal: to help. They are such an organized organization and provide so much help to the community.
APO helped me immensely with my unplanned pregnancy 11 years ago. They provided counseling and support throughout the pregnancy & continued to do so after I placed my child for adoption. I help out at Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach once a week. I am impressed with the people that I work with at the Outreach. They are cheerful and enthusiastic about helping young people with unplanned pregnancies. I like the idea that they are also an adoption agency for the young woman to find homes for their babies if unable to care for them. I feel honored to be a very small part of this organization.
What a wonderful ministry! I had the joy of being the nursery coordinator at APO for a few semesters during my time in college. The volunteers are so invested in the lives of the girls, guys, and babies who come on Thursday nights. They have counseling and discipleship, a shop where girls can spend their "Mama bucks" that they earn for things like bringing their folders and memorizing bible verses on the things they need like clothes, blankets, etc. This ministry is a powerful force in BCS and an awesome outreach to young moms!
It was an absolute joy to have the opportunity to volunteer at APO. The full-time staff were all friendly, knowledgeable and focused on the goal of APO. It was well-coordinated and truly fun. I got to help take care of some of the cutest infants in BCS, and knew it greatly enabled the mothers to receive some much needed time on their own. I love the mission of APO and am fortunate that I was able to spend fun-filled hours there.
We LOVE APO dearly!! We adopted our son through them and have had many friends before and after us use this agency as well. They love everyone involved so well - the child, the adoptive family, the birthfamily---no one is left feeling alone. They prayed with us and helped guide us when we were feeling lost or anxious. We would recommend them over and over and over again. They truly seek to share Christ and His love and it is evident. We feel beyond blessed to know those people and call them friends.

Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach: making a difference in this world one LIFE at a time
The tagline for this ministry says it all. APO is making a difference. This group is primarily committed to serving Christ and the love that flows from that commitment is undeniable. Though it has been ten years since we adopted our daughter through APO, the memories are remarkably vivid. The director told me then they are dedicated to helping each precious birthmother make the best decision for her child. Whether the birthmother opts to raise the baby or place the baby with an adoptive family, APO provides resources to support the decision.
APO gives hope where there was none, and they do so with loving compassion and integrity. APO does indeed change lives, one life at a time.
APO is phenomenal! The people that work and volunteer there really love the Lord and are excited about loving others. I volunteer with Mama Club and they do such a great job trying to teach, love on, and help these teen mamas. I've seen lives changed, people come to Christ, mamas get educated, and life-long friends made. APO saw the need in the community and with the help of God, they met it.
Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach is a wonderful organization!! Our student group, Pro-Life Aggies, has babysat during and provided dinner for their Mama's Club in the past, and we've seen first-hand how caring they are toward these young mothers and their children. Our hearts are full and our family is complete. APO truly has the best interest of the children at heart. They guideded us and the birth mom step by step trough a stressful and emotional process. APO helped through the hardest thing I'll probably ever have to go through! The lady I worked with was so much help. They helped me with a lot, from counseling to helping financially. From phones calls, text, emails, and meetings, they always check up on you to make sure things are going ok. They always offer to come to you instead of going into the office. I will forever be grateful for their help. Absolutely loved APO!!!
I was going through a very tough time, and this organization held my hand the whole way. I experienced working with Karla whom by the way is sweet as ever. Karla made me feel confident that I was making the right decision. I remember when I came home from the hospital from having my baby I was really depressed, and I was refusing to talk to anyone because I just give my baby boy up for adoption. Karla would not stop calling until I talked to her and then she offered me to come to the office to talk. Without APO I don't know where I would be today. I am very graceful for having them when I was at my lowest, and I will always remember the great staff.

i love APO. I go as often as my schedule allows. It makes you feel good to know that you are helping out, while getting some much needed play time with children. I really support the work that APO is doing in the community as well as enjoy the time I spend there.

I am a international student at TAMU. And I worked at Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach from Feb 2013 to Aug 2013. It was really wonderful experience. My work is to processing the donations to help people who come here can find things they want quickly and easily. At here I worked with other kind people who at first teach me a lot about how to do these works. And it is really good that you know your efforts can really help other people.
We attended Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach's ministry to teen moms (Mama Club) in 2009 to learn what the program was about and we were convinced that this program was something worthwhile! We have been volunteers ever since! Mama Club is a weekly meeting for teen moms to fellowship together, play games and learn valuable parenting skills in a faith based atmosphere. They receive material help, emotional support and spiritual training from mentors of all ages. As the Mamas began to bring the Papas, the "Real Men Club" was formed and meets at the same time, encouraging men to be Dads and take an active role in raising their children. Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach is making a difference in this world.... one life at a time. It's for the kids!
My family came to this organization during a painful time when we had a hole in our heart. We were seeking out different organization and doing research to find our next step. We came to APO just to listen and learn. It didn't take long before we knew this was the perfect place for us. They are more than just a resource for family with unplanned pregnancy and for families seeking adoptions. They are a home for the hurting that provides a family no matter what caused the pain. The members of the staff soon turn into a brothers/sisters or uncles/aunts. They can’t fix your pain, but they vow to walk with you in it. Through their experience, love, wisdom and trust, you soon find that your path you’re on seems a little less lonely because they are with you and it makes a worlds different!
Our connection to APO is an outer circle at best. We are the parents of someone who gave their child up for adoption. That made me think that my husband and I would have very little interaction with the adoption agency. But I was wrong. This agency's representative has gone above and beyond the paperwork and legalities. She has given godly advice both before the baby was born and continuing long after the adoption was finalized. I know if I called her today she would welcome my call and take the time to address my concerns with prayer and love.
I am a teenager that had gotten pregnant last year, and sent to live in Texas with some relatives. Wanting the best for my child's life, I had chosen adoption. I had researched agencies in Texas and came across APO. I had called Mrs. Karla Wilson and began meeting with her as soon as possible. She was so nice and cared for me so well. We had gone through all the paperwork so quick, and she was sure to tell me everything I needed/wanted to know. Before I knew it, I had already met the couple I wanted to give my daughter to. During the labor and delivery, she was there for me every step of the way, which I appreciated so much. Even after having giant hiccup with the baby's father, they were still so kind and caring and willing to help in any way shape or form. They flew the father down from PA to meet the baby and the adopting parents, which helped him decide to agree to the adoption. Having APO there to help me through the adoption was one of the most amazing processes I'll ever go through and I would recommend them to anyone looking to put a child up for adoption or looking for a child to adopt. What they do is so wonderful and I appreciated it so much.
I began to volunteer at Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach in 2010. I had volunteered at several other local faciities prior to joining APO. While the other agencies are meeting necessary needs in our community, I found that APO's philosophy and ministry mirrored my heartbeat for young girls who decide to parent their unplanned babies. The staff and volunteers become an invaluable support system for the moms and the dads. Coming alongside them and teaching them parenting skills and life skills helps these kids take control of their out of control lives. The success stories from those who have gone through the program are heartwarming and show the real value of this ministry. I am proud to be a part of this tremendous asset to our community.

Aggieland pregnancy is a wonderful local adoption agency but that is not all that the organization provides for our community. Once a week volunteers from all over the twin cities of Bryan and College Station meet with teen moms to provide mentoring, parenting classes and religious education. The support given to the young moms and their partners has proven to be an invaluable resource for them to assist them in moving forward in their new roles as parents. There are also many other things that are offered at "Mama Club" as it is called. The participants gets 'bucks' for attendance and various other things that they can spend at the "'Mama Store" to buy children's clothes and other donated items. The teen moms can sign up to have a 'Mentor Mom' who will meet with them on a regular basis to encourage and teach them. I have been involved with APO for a couple of years and it is the most rewarding volunteer work i have ever been privileged to be a part of...it is just a tremendous ministry to our local community!
APO has been such an incredible blessing to us and to our community! We joined the APO family in June of 2011, when we attended an adoption seminar. We had no idea the amount of support and priceless friendships that we would receive....and most importantly our precious son!! The amount of love and compassion this ministry gives to our community is irreplaceable and I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone looking to adopt, volunteer, or seeking help with an unplanned pregnancy.
We were unable to get pregnant and came to Aggieland to help us adopt a child. They gave us helpful, honest support. They were upfront with wait times. Told us where they were struggling, and how we could pray for them, because they were praying for each of their families. We recently were matched with a mom and have a wonderful child. The social workers stood beside us and the birthmom through the entire process. They continue to stand beside both of us as we work this new reality that both we have and the birthmom has.
Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach changes lives. The lives of clients, babies, and volunteers are impacted in a powerful way because of the work APO does. In three years volunteering with APO I have been impressed with the staff, with the resources they offer, with the heart behind this ministry. The Lord uses APO as a place of hope, healing and growth to young moms in the Bryan/College Station community.
Several years ago I tried to get APO out of my mind, but for some reason, God kept telling me to contact them to volunteer. That was about 5 years ago and I have been there ever since. Volunteering for this organization has been a wonderful experience. What a great team of leaders who love the Lord and want to share that love with young moms who may not otherwise get to hear about Jesus. I have a heart for this place and everyone involved. APO has changed me, and I hope that I have been a positive influence on all of those that I have served.
Greetings all. If your heart is ready to be filled, then APO is a great place for this to happen. It's been a while since we've been there - We filled our hearts and our home all the way back in 2003 with 2 wonderful boys (at 9 now, they are a handful). One step at a time; hearts and families filled each day is a great way to completion. and I think APP does it best!
APO has been a complete and total blessing to my family. Our first encounter with them was in 2009 when my sister and brother-in-law finalized the adoption of their little girl. Less than a year later, we were blessed with a surprise baby of our own. Our little one is the half-brother to my sister's daughter. He needed a home and God chose us (even though were weren't looking to adopt). APO made the transition happen quickly and easily. They were so amazing to walk with us every step of the way. They helped us get all of the paperwork and the legal parts completed so that we could finalize his adoption. They gave us tons of information about being adoptive parents and what open adoption looked like. But, most of all, they were there to answer our questions any time we called. They walked along side us, prayed with us, and loved us. It was an amazing journey. 9 months after our son's adoption was finalized, we were blessed with the opportunity to bring home another son (our fourth child). Once again, APO walked with us on the journey and in April of 2012 our second adoption was finalized. The biggest blessing APO gave us during the adoption of our second child has been the way they loved on his birth-family. APO counseled them in so many ways: they helped in strengthening the parent's relationship; they helped them learn to better parent their 3 children living at home; they assisted them in obtaining jobs; they encouraged them to further their education and they helped them walk through the grief and loss they felt after giving up their baby. Words cannot express our thankfulness to APO for their love and support of every person involved in the journey of adoption. They are truly a blessing.
What APO means to us...LOVE. APO is first and foremost about LOVE. Love for Jesus. Love for babies. Love for birth families. Love for adoptive parents. We felt this LOVE the moment we first set our feet inside the doors of APO. We knew immediately we were in the right place. After years of infertility, God clearly led us to APO. We are now back to adopt our second child and wouldn't be anywhere other than APO. APO makes what can be a long journey of up and down emotions, the easiest ride possible. They take your hand and lead you, but not before seeking the Lord's wisdom first...that's the difference. We certainly credit God for our wonderful son...He put all the pieces together with APO being a key piece! We wouldn't have our precious family if it wasn't for APO.
I interned at APO for a semester. The staff is absolutely wonderful, and the work they do is so valuable. APO loves their clients so well, and it was such a great environment to work and learn in!
Serving at APO has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The sole purpose of APO, are the children. Every area in this organization from the time a woman walks through the door is about the child. Whether it is finding a Godly, and loving home for the child to be raised in, to teaching parenting skills to a child's teen mom. The staff, volunteers, and board members all have a passion for making a difference in the lives of children. I serve in two different areas at APO, and there is no difference in the passion. It's all the same...love the children and help them to be raised in Godly homes.
Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach assisted us with the adoption of our daughter, Abby, in 2005. Abby is now 7 years old. The entire experience was amazing. Kim and the staff at APO are a true blessing - they supported us in many ways through a complex and emotional process. They think of APO as more than just an agency -- it's a way for them to touch people's lives in a positive way.
We knew APO was the agency for us when we attended our first informational meeting. They believe in the same values as we do and made us feel very comfortable during the entire adoption process. Each staff member is caring, informative, and always available when we had a question or concern. We were overwhelmed with their commitment (working long and late hours) and follow up not only with us but with the birth moms as well. They made an experience that could be stressful and emotional into a memorable and amazing journey our family will never forget.
After the first seminar with APO I knew they were the agency for us! I am most impressed by the counseling/education they provide birth moms and adoptive families. I also love the fact that when you cal they know who you are- its so nice to feel welcomed and known during such a trying process.
I was introduced to this wonderful organization by one of the most caring people I know, Joe Carver. Joe puts a ton of time (and money) into providing for APO, and the community as a whole. In fact, its all the great volunteers that are so dedicated that make something like un planned pregnancy and adoption possible in Aggieland.
APO is an amazing company that has touched so many lives. My husband and I have chosen APO to be our adoption agency because we heard about them from another couple that had adopted through them. We are in the waiting phase now. APO has been extremely helpful, kind, professional and has continued to show us God's love through this process. We feel extremely blessed to be on this journey with them and are excited to see what the future holds!
The Lord has truly blessed our family with the opportunity to adopt our precious Jonathan through APO. Jonathan was born 9/20/11, placed in our arms 9/24/11 and was forever ours 4/9/12! What an amazing journey it has been! We can’t say enough about the staff at APO. We immediately fell in love with their open adoption approach and their honesty in preparing us for the process. In May 2006, I placed my daughter for adoption through Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach. The counselors at APO provided hours of invaluable support and encouragement throughout the adoption process, from the moment I walked through the doors as a prospective client and through the traumatic months immediately following the adoption, and their support and advice continue to this day. I consider APO's services to be absolutely critical to the local community, but especially to young girls and women who find themselves in unplanned pregnancies. The best way that APO can strengthen is to increase community awareness of the agency and all of its services so that it can expand to its fullest potential, and be able to serve even more children, young mothers, and adoptive parents.
APO is a wonderful agency to work with. It is very obvious their primary focus is what is in the best interest of the child, and that they truly are a faith-based organization. They offer great support and counseling services for birth mothers, and support for prospective/ adoptive parents. God is at work at this agency.
This agency is fantastic. We had a wonderful experience with them and I have referred about 5 or 6 families to them who also have all had great experiences. They are always available to walk you through the process, supportive, and helpful. We had a wonderful adoption of a newborn baby girl through them and I would highly recommend anyone in TX looking to adopt to check them out!
We had a great experience with Aggieland Pregnacy Outreach they were very helpful and supportive. We were referred to them by another client and are so grateful for this. We were matched and had our precious baby boy in our arms all with in a month of being added to the waiting list. I highly recommend them to everyone. Can't say enough good things about them.
