This 30 year old charity has relocated, re-branded, and changed their business model in the last year. they are now Aggieland Humane Society. Annually hundreds of TAMU students (Aggies) volunteer to help with their mission. This local independent Humane Society has provided internships for multiple disciplines including animal care which provides many interns experience to build their resumes for application to vet school. The agency has programs in cooperation with TAMU School of Veterinary Medicine to provide hands on training for vet students in shelter medicine and spay neuter experiences.
