Volunteering Oportunities

Nonprofit Overview

Mission: By connecting young adults with adults 65+ Ageless interAction provides an opportunity for intergenerational friendships to flourish in creative environments such as art and music activities. Our goal is to connect high school and college students with older adults so that through interaction, young adults are able to see that aging is a lifelong process that is not negative. We hope to change how we view age to a society of "ageless interactions."

Ageless interAction has been a thought leader in the nonprofit world. The work they are doing to burn the age gap discrimination is admirable. I have worked with Meagan the Executive Director multiple times over the last two years for events that brought new understanding of aging to the youth. Many of the youth walked away with new friends and appreciation for the aging community. Meagan's passion for humanity is contagious and all her volunteers understand her passion and why they are important. I look foward to seeing how many more lives will be touched by this organization.

I've watched this organization grow in the past few years. The determination and passion demonstrated by its founder, Meagan Jain, has been inspiring. You get to see the efforts and payoff if you volunteer with her at one the many events that she has planned. The concept of connecting the older and younger generations has so much value. I don't think enough people know about it or take the idea seriously. There's so much to learn and growth happens for the young people in these experiences. And she's been able to provide that for many teens and young adults in the Metro Atlanta area. I'm looking forward to seeing how Ageless interAction continues to grow.
