I was licensed through Agape Foster Family Agency and had a disappointing experience. After temporarily requesting removal of a relative placement to set healthy boundaries, the county supported returning the child, but Agape chose to rescind my license.
Throughout my time with the agency, the placement worker often pushed placements that were not a good fit for our home. I was never accused of any wrongdoing, but received little support or transparency. If you're considering this agency, especially for kinship care, ask plenty of questions and advocate strongly for what’s best for your household.
I have donated to Agape Villages monthly for the past 5 years. This agency is changing the lives of foster children, and providing them with great opportunities for a brighter future as adults. I have also volunteered with the foster children for years, and have seen the termendous changes happening first hand in their lives. Through Agape Villages Enrichment Program foster kids have the opportunitiess to participate in sports, dance, gymnastics, art, guitar lessons, and more. I am so thankful to have a private agency that truly loves children, and is changing lives. Thanks Agape Villages.

I've volunteered for Agape for the past 2 years. They are wonderful and it's a blessing to be a part of such great work. I did a fundraiser for them and they really appreciated it. I've also seen how they interact with the children and they are so loving and really making a difference. I'm so thankful that there are agencies like this one who really care about kids and the families that care for them!

This organization took $300,000 from an elderly citizen and refused to repay the loan. This elder abuse serves notice to others to avoid this organization
