I’ve served on the board for five+ years and have travels to Africa several times to meet staff and leaders and experience the ministry up close. The organization is careful to manage its funds and resources with integrity. The all-African leadership cares deeply for the the lost and needy on their continent. For more than 50 years, AE has effectively ministered in Africa.
I work closely with a variety of Christ-centered ministries throughout the year and help as a resource development consultant. My first hand experience with the staff at AE was an incredible blessing for me as each one of the staff (Jamie Morrison, Katie Getman, & Caitlin Hetrick) are all in when it comes to their faithfulness and demonstrating Christ's love for those they serve in Africa. Not only am I looking forward to partnering with this terrific outreach again in the future, but I have complete confidence that they are representing God's heart on the front lines due to their commitment in seeing lives changed for both time as well as for eternity!
It is my sincere privilege to give African Enterprise my whole-hearted endorsement after seeing up close and personal how effectively the leadership team runs the ministry.
African Enterprise performs crucial work as they spread the gospel throughout Africa. More than that, AE performs acts of love that transcend cultures and languages and in doing so, they make Christ's love tangible to so many who desperately need it. I have known Jamie Morrison, the U.S. Director of AE for over 30 years and he conducts his work with integrity and passion day in and day out. I cannot say enough good things about AE and I am happy to support them and to pray for them.
I so appreciate the work that is being done by African Enterprise. If you need convincing, just read "Out of the Dark Shadows," by Steven Lungu, a current evangelist with AE. I particularly appreciate the fact that AE works with existing governments and churches in Africa, not only showing a respect for the people and their culture, but also the conviction that change must come from within. The personnel at AE in America, with whom I've come in contact, have always been gracious, appreciative, and helpful. I was recently impressed, inspired and informed by a presentation on the history and work of AE given by Jamie Morrison and Katie
Bordner in the Spokane, Washington office. I have no doubt that my contributions are being well spent to ease the suffering of the African people and to to share the life-giving truth of the Gospel with them.
I love that African Enterprise reaches all levels of society in the cities of Africa, from the school children, to the prisoner, to the top government and business leadership. I have had the joy of seeing their evangelists in action, preaching, teaching and reaching out to many with compassion and a solid focus on Jesus Christ. African Enterprise, with its long history of reaching out to leadership has, in many effective and tangible ways, brought Kingdom transformation to the continent.
African Enterprise has a very practical approach to pointing people to Jesus. They have been integral to bringing justice and peace in many conflict situations in Africa. They work at grassroots level, all the way to the top to address systemic injustice and share the Gospel. And don't waste a lot of money on slick or trendy presentation, which is something I value in an organization.
This is an amazing ministry! They care so much about people and really care about their donors and about sending as much money as they can toward evangelizing in Africa, as well as their programs like the Center for Champions or the Prostitute Rehab. Keep up the good work!
Seeing the wonderful work that is done without pride or expecting any reward on a day to day level is truly magnificent.
They are truly changing people lives
For the past five years, I have been serving as a missionary volunteer for African Enterprise in Rwanda, Africa. Serving in Africa is a challenge and I have seen many NGO's that miss the mark. It is refreshing to work with professional locals that really understand the needs of the culture and the people. Also, sometimes it is frustrating but African Enterprise America and Rwanda work hard to make sure that there is full transparency when it come to funds that are being used. This often leads to lots of paperwork before funds are released but I would rather have extra paperwork and make sure the projects receive the funding they were promised and avoid the alternative, to not have the funds go to the projects that they were allocated to. I have seen this with so may other NGO's. The staff at African Enterprise has a very clear cut vision and mission and it has been a pleasure to volunteer and be a part of the team.
AFrican Enterprise has been doing a significant work for the Lord and is recognized for quality ministry in a number of African countries, especially in South Africa. Michael Cassidy did an excellent job of establishing the work, which came from a vision that God had given to him. Festo was also a remarkable national leader until God called him home.
African Enterprise has been a faithful nonprofit functioning for close to 50 years. I have been associated with the ministry for 42 of those years and have witnessed nothing other than integrity, and care as the ministry relates to people and carefully stewards the funds it receives that go to nothing other than fulfilling its mission and vision - to evangelize the cities of Africa. African Enterprise has functioned according to biblical standards of integrity, honesty, and faithfulness and has been an integral part of winning and discipling people for Christ.
This is a world-changing evangelistic and justice ministry to the continent of Africa. I was with their evangelists, national teams and youth for 10 days in Soweto South Africa. They are the real thing!
This non-profit organization is full of compassion and care. I love the way that they help lead leaders to Christ. The Executive Director keeps the issues close in his heart and is always very grateful for each donor specifically.
Very genuine and caring! The Director himself called to thank me for my partnership with them. Because of some of my specific interests, he gave me a book that was a testimony of one of African Enterprise' leaders.
This touched me so much, I actually bought a second book to share with a friend.
I felt special as a donor, but I also know that the work they are doing in Africa has had a large and lasting impact. They helped South Africa have their first peaceful democratic election. I'm so proud to be friends with African Enterprise!
