I have enjoyed volunteering for this wonderful, transparent organization for 14 years. It is important to stay focused on Afghanistan, which has a struggling economy and is slowly growing opportunities for women. A4T is a bright light for youth education and the future.

I was a volunteer at the Afghans4tomorrow school in 2011 and 2013. I provided psycho-social support to the faculty and students. The NGO, Afghans4tomorrow, provided me the opportunity to travel to Afghanistan and to learn about Afghan culture and customs. I am still corresponding with a student that I met in 2011, who is now attending Kabul University. Although I have traveled with other NGO's during my yearly trips to Afghanistan, I will always have a special place in my heart for [Info removed for confidentiality purposes]I am now a volunteer online ESL tutor to several Afghan students. I am a mentor to 20 Afghan students as well. Thank you A4T for giving me the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of so many wonderful Afghan students.

Afghans4Tomorrow is a great non-profit helping afghan people in Afghanistan. Their work is making a great difference in the lives of people in this country. The donations are going directly to the needs and toward wonderful project such as preparation for the University entrance grad examination which is increasing the chances of girls to have a better future by having access to higher education. I rate it a 5

I made the effort to join the [Info removed for confidentiality purposes] board after seeing first-hand the incredible work they were doing and the unwavering dedication of the staff. Being a smaller organization, and working on projects only within Afghanistan, has allowed A4T to tailor its operations to the social, cultural, and practical circumstances of the country, and the unique challenges faced by its people. By working directly with members of the community to address some of their most pressing needs, A4T's projects have an immediate and profound impact on their lives.

A4T is an amazing nonprofit. It allows hands-on experience working directly with the wonderful folks in Afghanistan through Skype and in-country volunteer opportunities. The organization is truly Afghans 4 Afghans, making decisions and deciding on projects that work best for them. I've been privileged to volunteer with A4T since 2009, with two trips to Afghanistan and continue as volunteer bookkeeper in the US. I especially enjoyed working with the Higher Education Project university students (teach the teacher in ESL) and continue to correspond with "my students" via FaceBook.

I have volunteered with A4T for a little over a year and have been very impressed by how much they can do for so many with so little. A lot of this is due to a large and dedicated pool of volunteers. The staff is responsive and pro-active, and the board has been very attuned to the need to seek out new sources of funding since U.S. government involvement has been decreasing over the past few years. The projects A4T focuses on could not be more important, especially healthcare in impoverished areas and educating the next generation of women leaders in Afghanistan. Great work!!

A4T is a small, impactful organization working in health/education/agriculture. I volunteered with them a few years ago and was impressed by how much work they do given the budgets they work with and how well thought out their projects were. Their staff in Kabul were extremely motivated and helpful and supported me throughout the time I spent in Kabul working with a local school. The Board has a good range of experience across the sectors they work in and the management and oversight of their work seemed to be very professional
