Mission: The mission of the fund is to make a positive difference in the lives of young afghans, primarily through education. The fund believes education will give young afghans a solid foundation of skills and knowledge necessary for success in their professions and for their growth as responsible citizens of afghanistan. Additionally, the fund will offer special attention in providing such scholarships to female students to address the underrepresentation of female students in afghanistan.
Programs: Provide technical vocational training for 3000 afghan nationals at the laghman and kabul, afghanistan campuses of afghanistan technical vocational institute under usaid funding. Classes are offered in five major programs: information communications technology, automotive systems technology, agriculture/horticulture, construction trades, and business administration through the afghan technical vocational institute, and afghan charitable organization.
