The missions in the united states involved approximately 100 volunteers working with at-risk children and families who live on indian reservations in south dakota. The organization provided after school programs, sports programs, vacation bible school programs, bible study programs, assistance with maintenance and repair needs and meals. The missions in poland involved approximately 25 volunteers teaching children english and running a bible day camp at two churches in poland. The mission in guatemala involved approximately 10 volunteers helping residents of a small village with water and sanitary issues, maintenance and repair issues and teaching a vacation bible school program for children. The organization also started a new outreach to inner-city st. Louis which involves regular gatherings with needy families in the community and the distribution of used clothes and other items to such families. The organization also began a relationship with an orphanage in liberia through which the organization helps provide for the needs of the children residing at the orphanage including food, clothing and education. The organization also collaborated with another tax exempt organization to collect christmas gifts for 500 to 600 at-risk children on indian reservations in south dakota. The organization also continues to work with communities in the developing world to address challenges including clean water, hygiene, sanitation, health and nutrition. These projects are funded through donations and the collection and sale of used shoes to an exporter. These funds are then used to help improve sanitation in remote villages in third-world countries. Volunteers work with these villages to improve sanitation by installing latrines and water systems. The organization provides materials and supplies needed for these projects. In addition, our volunteers often work with the people of the village on such projects.
