I was a privileged to have Advocate for World Health donating to my charity (Speciallady Awareness) to help in the delivery of essential medical care towards women with reproductive health and pediatric care in Ghana. The staff are very professional and very understanding. Their commitment and passionate to support other charities like mine and hospitals are remarkable.
Hospitals and surgery centers waste millions on discarded unused medical supplies, and like-new equipment each year filling landfills with billions of pounds of medical waste. Most of these items can be redistributed to other hospitals all around the world. That is where Advocates for World Health comes in. By receiving donations from hospitals and surgery centers, Advocates for World Health is not only preventing these useable medical supplies from ending up in our landfills but they are also helping get these products in the hands of hospitals around the world who may not be able to get them new.
Using Advocates for World
Health over the past 5years, as a supplier of Medical Equipment and Supplies has helped The Ghanaian Women's Association of Georgia make a significant positive difference in maternal Healthcare in Ghana, West Africa by and large, in every way.
The availability of various types of medical equipment and supplies required under one umbrella has saved us a lot of time and effort. Their keen desire to grow and meet our needs encourages our organization keep going back to Awhealth year after year.
The beneficiary hospital wards have been sending great testimonials
We certainly recommend others who have a need for medical equipment and supplies to look no further than Advocates for World Health. The Ghanaian Women's Association of Georgia will undoubtedly continue to source all our needs for hospital supplies from AWhealth.
Thank you!

AWH is a non-profit organization, they have the legal documents to prove it, as a contractor I help AWH find donors, I have been in contact with numerous Hospitals, surgical centers, clinics and regular people all over Florida to help gather supplies for them, the supplies they collect get redistributed to local, south American, and overseas recipients. They recently acquired new personnel in the warehouse. This organization is 100% legit and does an excellent job helping communities all over, they need all the help they can get.
My story is I went in there because I own a senior facility and I was out of needles during the pandemic and was told I'm a drug addict, this rude man was taking pictures of me. My husband would love to see him I'm sure it wouldn't have happened if he was there the guy was a punk. It's too it's a shame because I would have had a lot to donate also in return. You are very rude, inconsiderate, and it looks to me like he was a drug addict leaving on a bicycle. do not go there all I wanted was to help my own clients.

I'm very sorry to hear this was your experience with us. We do not recall this interaction. None of our staff travels to work with a bicycle so I am not sure what may have happened here. Please reach out to us directly at support@awhealth.org if your facility is in need of items. Please note that we do not dispense any items to individuals. We will need all the proper paperwork for the recipient. Thank you and I apologize for this experience once again.
According to the date reported the organization serves no one. So what do they need the donated machines for except their own profit? Very puzzling.

Please view our latest 990 filing (2019) after we have finished developing a precise valuation methodology for outgoing inventory. We've also disclosed our largest recipients (Food for the Poor). Generally speaking, 75-85% of our revenue is programmatic expenses in the form of product grants to other 501(c)3 nonprofits.
