I really wish that I could give a good recommendation for this shelter. However, when I called them because I had exhausted every avenue for behavior modification with my very difficult puppy, the coordinator was rude, demeaning, and did not offer any assistance whatsoever. They very clearly are in the business of making money on pets but not actually advocating for them and their continued success with their new owners. All I needed was some encouragement and suggestions for ways to handle the challenges I was experiencing, but I got only disdain. I cannot recommend an organization that claims to care so much about animals and even offers to take difficult animals back without question when they treat distraught pet parents like they do. Please do yourself a favor and find a more reputable shelter if you plan to adopt. Be sure they will actually help you if you encounter difficulties with your new pet.
