Adult and Teen Challenge saved my life and many many others. I read all the posts about so called abuse and all that... NOT TRUE. Absolutely the opposite. They present the Gospel as the answer to life controlling issues. While also teaching life skills that many did not grow up learning. They love on you as well as showing you how to live as a Christian in society. Anyone has the right to make the decision to be there. I have seen hundreds of lives changed in people going through the program as well as families restored. The people that are leaving bad reviews and telling crazy lies are the ones who were probably convicted by the Holy Spirit to change and they refused to do so. God is the one in charge there. Ill just say this.. If you are really ready to change and you are tired of being chained to fear and addictions of ALL KINDS. Call them.. That place truly shows the love and acceptance of Jesus. But get ready to put 100% into it. NO CHANGE IS EASY.. Question is, Do you want to let go or not? It's worth it for the Peace you will find in Christ.

ATC of Texas, is a great organization that takes a no nonsense approach to Recovery. Focusing on the spiritual disciplines, scripture, creating disciples and the power of Jesus Christ in the lives of the broken, are what makes this organization a true success story!

I served nearly 3 years in the Corporate office. I can assure you that under the leadership of Dr. George Thomas this organization focuses on 1) the best interests of the students, 2) the well-being of the staff who care for them, and 3) responsible stewardship of every donation received. The men and women who enter this program are given every opportunity to mature spiritually, emotionally, and socially so that they can graduate and go forward to lead successful lives that honor the Lord and bless their families and communities.

I have served on the Teen Challenge of Texas Board for 15 years, 14 of those as Chairman of the Board. I have watched as hundreds of men and women have entered this 1 year residential program. The results are indisputable because of changed lives. By that I mean set free from addiction; Family restoration; Healthy parents; Emotional restoration and health; Spiritually strong; Assets to their communities upon return; many stay and become staff and interns. The success rate is second to nothing else. What a joy to be a part of seeing trapped people set free. Our present leadership team is strong and committed. A visit to the campus will confirm the above very demonstratively. The T C students and staff are some of my most favorite people on earth.

This is a great organization with a desire to help people with life controlling issues. They have great success stories at all of their facilities and have funneled people back into their communities as useful members of society. The program really works because of the 'Jesus,' factor.
