The director of this organization has demonstrated a bias towards those confined to wheelchairs in her opinions and conversations.
While she did eventually "help" us in approving us for our inquiry, she never apologized for her polarizing language - she simply tried justifying her opinions and insinuated the issue was due to my sensitivity. After 23 years being a paraplegic, I have never been offended until my conversation with her. Most people possess innocent ignorance but are willing to adapt their views and apologize for their previous ignorance. Pride, I fear, prevents this director from making that personal step.
The second issue is their contract, which after reviewing with several attorneys after the fact, we were advised had we it any other client brought the contract to them (prior to signing), they would strongly advise against it
